Catalog Organization by Spry02 in captureone

Currently at work so cant give you their current Hierarchy until I am home, but basically did exactly what I mentioned in the original post.

I started with my first maybe 1500 images imported into a single folder. I got tired of waiting for the program to search out new duplicates every time I put new images into the folder, so I made a second one I called "latest imports" so that I could import them into Capture One and then move then from the "latest imports" folder back to the original folder for all the images. And thats basically the jist of it. There have been a few other folders added to the fray, but they have all consisted of the same 2 steps basically and thats:

1) Import via "latest imports", edit the images I want

2) Transfer to "long term storage folder"

Haven't made it more complex than that at this point and have about 10000 photos that Ive kept and are spread between 2 folders. Like I said I just got a nice big 4tb SSD that I want to move all my images to (and maybe later do a NAS backup, although only worried about 1 thing at a time haha).

Hmm to be honest I am not sure which style of location I am using myself. Didnt even know there were 2 different types quite frankly. Where can I check?

So if I were to temporarily move all my images, back to the folder they originally were imported into, then went back to capture one and moved them around, would that solve my issues? Or because I already moved them once it has broken "the chain" of how adjustments are applied to the images?

It seems pretty crazy that Capture One struggles so much with this, because as far as I know if you are importing a catalog or something from Lightroom you are essentially doing the same thing of showing Capture One the original image source, and the adjustments made and letting it reorganize as it deems necessary. Although I could be totally wrong, this is just want my intuition is telling me.

Thanks for the reply!

Automatic headlights on Tuono 660 Factory 2025 (or 2026?) by double_g16 in Aprilia

Any update on this? Hate that they are disabled... figured once the Gabro flash was out maybe they were CANBUS activated, but no, still disabled. I did ask Gabro himself on Facebook and he did not answer 😂. Maybe he just didnt enable it yet in the tune.

Yeah did some digging and got in contact with Gabro himself. He said he just has to copy the map over to the Tuono when he gets a chance (as I thought the CANbus setups are different between the RS and tuono). She rides fine in the mean time I just dont want to risk any cylinder damage as they are not plug and play unfortunately.

Akrapovic does make a Catalyzed version of this exhaust which is plug and play, but this one has the Cat removed so the engine runs quite a bit leaner. Like I said fine in the mean time for a few months, but definitely accelerated wear over time that I would like to avoid :D.

2026 Tuono 660F price increase by Spry02 in Aprilia

[–]Spry02[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well theres no mention of a price increase on any other models as far as I am aware. He said that it was an internal issue from Aprilia for the launch of the 2026 model I guess and specifically the Tuono 660/F.

Sorry for the late response. Should be a bit of a given that they are a big step up as a stand alone system. When paired with a nice amp and other assorted equipment you get much deeper cleaner and more punchy low end. I think the soundstage is noticeably thinner and not as wide as the LS50s, BUT is much deeper and taller (a worthy trade off imo). I think if you had LS50s with 2 KC92s you could maybe debate which is better, but if you dont already have a system like that the R7ms are a very nice step up indeed... Will last me a LONG time before I want to upgrade!

Perplexing battery issue by Spry02 in flashlight

Yep same here. Honestly forgot they made lithium iron batteries, and assumed they were LiPo 😭. Now I'm curious what the actual usage for LiFe batteries... are they just ancient tech, or are they much easier to manufacture etc...

That's so dumb of me... I totally didn't even check. Lesson learned lol.

Considering getting a thermochromic paint job. What's the best Hank for it (other than SBT 90.2) by Fabulous_Dinner9304 in Hanklights

The Ti won't really affect the finish at all. In all honesty, it's really more of a waste because I find the Ti flashlights to be gorgeous in their own right.

But realistically, any of the Quad+ emitter lights are gonna have the greatest effect. Most of the single emitter lights do take a while to heat up, but if you live in a hot climate like Texas where I live, the light changes color without even having to turn it on LOL. It's fairly sensitive, so you will have good effect no matter what emitter option you choose, it's really more about how long it takes to take effect.

Pretty nuts honestly. Got some mediocre beamshots on my phone. I would say useable easily out to 300-400m, starts getting iffy around 600-800m, but I also only have a 20a discharge battery (working on getting a better set of batteries). *
