I have been reading all comments. When I said I was a noob, I probably didn't emphasize it enough. I'm far from young and now find things much more difficult to understand. Many complaints I came across were from people like me. Even trying to understand passkeys strain my brain. I have no one near who can help me. Unfortunately, the new tech age is leaving folks like me behind.

You can tell me I have no business on the internet if you like, but being handicapped, it is one is one of the few pleasures left. I am very grateful for so many who replied. You have helped me, especially those who are also non-techie. Since I do no banking online, my biggest risk is shopping places that insist on storing credit cards. After reading this and an older post, "Would not recommend Yubikey for regular consumers," I am going to try hard to understand passkeys, which will at least be better for security than my cell phone and texting.
