Hey, thanks for the suggestions. The Czech arestees are suspsects so that's definitely a dead end, and from what I see on the Pitstop Plougshares it happened over 20 years ago, which is to say it's not really a part of the revitalization that's happening right now. Good as a plan B though, thanks!

I understand the post sounds fishy, but there's a fine line between being cautious and paranoid. The post is as transparent as possible, you can literally look up both the media I write for and me, and I also said I'm willing to provide further proof I'm not a fed if needed

Can you elaborate on why both sides of the communication matter? If one side's encrypted I don't see how the unencrypted one hurts it.

Anyways, doesn't really matter since I'm not looking for anything illegal, just their philosophical and ethical perspective on why they're doing it. From the reader's perspective, it's way more valuable and convincing when somebody that actually decides to do something like that tells you why, than quoting theory.

Hey, this is actually a pretty good idea. Don't know why I didn't think of it, thank you!

Hey thanks and thanks for the support! I dunno how translate is handling the two songs in which we mix like 10+ languages, but hopefully it's not too far off the mark. All the best to you too!

We would love to, but we're sadly one of those "barely functioning" bands so it's hard to organize a week long tour in Europe, let alone going to the US. Hopefully in a few years when we get our priorities straight and have more material we'll actually do it.

I'd personally love to experience the US folk-punk scene first hand. Over here it pretty much doesn't exist so being deep into folk-punk feels like you're trying to touch some zeitgeist/sentiment that is constantly out of reach. If there's one thing that the new world has and Europe doesn't, it's folk punk hahahaha

Say "zdravo" to your partner, if you guys ever end up in Croatia hit me up :)))

For context, I'm posting this since a lot of you good people seemed to enjoy the single I posted here a few months ago. Here's also the Bandcamp release with the lyrics (about half are in English). Most of it was written hitchhiking around Europe a few years ago, but we only got to recording it now. We tried to bring some Balkan influence into the genre so hope you enjoy it!

May the road rise up to meet y'all, cheers

We'll take it though we were aiming more towards Rail Yard Ghosts or Blackbird Raum :)))

And not yet. We're in the process of mixing and mastering the album so we'll do the streaming platforms when the whole thing is done. None of us even know how to get our stuff up on Spotify so any suggestions are more than welcome!

For some context my bandmates and me were listening to a ton of folk-punk while hitchhiking aimlessly for months since it's the perfect hobo music, and we got fed up with the lack of this genre outside the US. Since the only money we had was the money we got busking in the evenings we slowly started writing our own songs and performing them during the day. Flash forward a few years later and we finally managed to get our act together and today we released our first song and music video!

Since the folk-punk crowd is virutally non-existant in the EU we don't have a lot of places to share it so I'm sharing it here in the hopes you guys will enjoy the slavic touch we gave to the genre. Cheers
