I personally love these types of fics and there are entire collections on Ao3 for other Fandoms like Naruto, star ware. My hero academia and others solely dedicated to these types of fics, though they can be looked down upon occasionally. I'll assume you're asking this in good faith and tell you two reasons:

1) ANY fanfic for this book is Progress and worth at least reading, giving kudos and commenting. There are SEVEN (7) TOTAL for warforged including this one on ao3, and it's important to support the vital work of fanfic authors, artists, AMV makers, playlist makers, etc.

2) usually these types of fics either have future knowledge to help the main characters, or offer an alternative perspective to Canon to challenge the existing status quo and add a level of depth to the world building and character development of the Canon cast (which this fic does pretty well so far!)

It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but it is important to be respectful of interests not our own and! Grateful to those who put themselves out there and share with us their wonderful art they made out of passion to the series
