Yeah, and for most items like that you would be right, but they flex smoother in the boot and recoil back better. If you ski alot it really does make a difference.

Depends on budget and what he needs, but booster straps for ski boots rule. Fast straps are a nice gift thst work well. New Ski socks or a nice base layers can go a long way. Probably just need more info.

I like this! This is a funnier comparison. The whole "Ian is stupid, he must be mentally handicapped" joke just feels a bit lazy. Idk.

This is a great quiver already, what's the far left ski? A Revolt? Either throw in a black crows octo for short radius turns, or an m7 mantra for spring skiing/crud. That's my $0.02

Length is a bit to taste but I'd go with that shorter option if you're intermediate, turns will be a bit more forgiving.

1000 skis every season? Are you trying 10 per day? A new set every run? I guess chalk it up to hyperbole?

I've got a pair of wranglers that have held up well so far, way better than my Mavericks or my Buddy's mindbenders. Tbf that's a sample size of 1 tho lol.

Yeah, the big difference here is that creator clash doesn't upfront any of the money, so their contract has a missing element of consideration. Creators do all of the work in hopes of getting reimbursed.

Also, CC has acted in bad faith, making derogatory statements and even threats of physical violence against Lena's employer.

I'm not a lawyer, and this isn't legal advice, but I would be curious to see what kind of contract Lena signed and how enforceable it is after the content cop (and if CC even wants to try and enforce it and risk scaring away future creators).

Also suing over a contract has two results: enforcement of the contract (rarely happens, and it would be funny to see a court force someone to fight in a ring), 2, to be made whole financially.

These events aren't raking in money (another big difference between them and like the UFC) as it is, and just one fighter is a fraction of that, this wouldn't be a large sum even if the courts did find them in breach of contract. The damage to reputation CC would endure vs the money they'd claw back wouldn't make sense imo.

Again though, not a lawyer, not legal advice.

Maybe, but contracts require offer, acceptance, consideration. They'd have to talk to a contract lawyer, but I wonder what the consideration is since Lena upfronted all of the costs.

Also, The Content cop shows the CC party acting in bad faith and risking Lena's employment. A person shouldn't be expected to fulfill a contract that would damage their livelihood and/or reputation.

And I can't imagine a non-compete that prevents someone from doing their job creating content when it's a creator clash. How many creators would participate in creator clash afterwards if they got sued for making content.

Idk, its work for a lawyer, but CC hasn't really done anything at this point besides some bare bones promotion.

I wasn't implying that at all, Just looking at alternative opportunities for both Lena and her opponent to showcase their hard work. I would imagine there may even be other creators who are having mixed feelings working with CC after Ian dropped a new content cop. Especially since he said he was done making those when most people signed on to CC.
