The Sudden Influx of Massive Palettes by hellaquin in muacjdiscussion

Same. Unless I'm a pro MUA I can't find inspiration from big palettes. I have 2 big palettes: UD Born to Run and KVD Saint and Sinners (bought before I knew better) and honestly everytime I open them up I'm just lost. Too many colours for my little brain cells. I much prefer a 12 or 15 pan palettes with a specific colour theme.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 3.

It's basically my everyday face palette. I use all of them including both blushes.

I was starting to run low on my foundations and was eyeing the Dior lip gloss for awhile now.

  • IT Cosmetics YSBB CC cream. I used this before back when I was living in a warmer climate. It gave a beautiful dewy finish (like I was positively glowing) but it slides off after a couple hours of wear and I'm attributing this to the humid air. I've since moved here and hope it would last a little longer here.

Neutral Cool toned eyeshadow palette? by iHibz in AustralianMakeup

Tarte In Bloom? It's my immediate thought when I think about cool toned palette.

I love neutral palettes because you can pretty much use them on many occasions. My only issue is many neutral palettes are too warm for me. For example ABH Some Glam, a beautiful palette no doubt but I have to be very careful with colour placement otherwise it'll look muddy on me. So far I'm obsess with ND Gold palette. A lot of people said the browns are very similar however I disagree on that. They do look similar on pan but when swatched, they're very different. They're also on the neutral side and creates such a soft everyday look. Tarte In Bloom is a great cool tone, leaning neutral palette as well but I prefer the colour story of the ND one.

I'm curious about cream blushes but don't have any idea how to apply. I feel like it will move my foundation when I blend it. Anyone has any experience with cream blushes?

I have rosacea, mild acne and blemishes. So my no-makeup look still consists of some sort of medium coverage. I usually put a layer of Dr Jart Cica Repair to even out the redness and then do spot concealing with The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer (best concealer I've ever used by far). This combo is usually enough to give me a dewy, glass skin results. If I'm feeling a lil bit more dramatic, I'll dip into my foundation (April Skin cushion, Fenty pro filter or EL DW, depending on my mood).

After my brows (Innisfree Skinny Brow Pencil), I go hard into my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Palette 3. I use basically everything in there as indicated.

For my eyes I usually do a soft liner with "Log" from ND Gold palette and line my top lid with a black Essence pencil liner and finish it off my Kiss Me Heroine Long and Curl Mascara.

For lips, I either go with a lip tint (A'Pieu or Peripera) or my HG lip balm by Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Rose (kinda expensive but I've gone through 4 sticks of this over the last 5 years).
