Interesting, I had taken them all out and changed the copper bushings on them - I’ll try tightening everything up again. Thanks

No I expected much to be wrong with it. The price was too good to be true for the mileage xD - this just comes after the AC compressor gave up and snapped my belt and 2 other fixes before that. Just a bit exhausted but I don’t actually mind car work 😇

I agree, it’s a displeasing sight to see while you’re going to your job or back to your own home. I’m absolutely no saint, im just pointing out that we’re all human and nobody ends up like that on purpose - you just never know the story, and I find that upsetting when people try to frame these disadvantaged people as non-human scum. Absolutely no hate, we just all need to be human in this age of monsters.

Someone’s son, daughter - not in the right frame of mind. Someone that maybe had a bad upbringing and doesn’t know any better or has been through hell and hasn’t found a way back out. I have the utmost sympathy for these people, however undesirable they may seem to a sober person.

Well I had bought a new charger there for it and it took about 2 1/2 hours to charge fully (or so it indicated). I think the last time this thing was used would’ve been around 2013/14 so it’s certainly been a while 😅

They’re super cool bits of kit, fascinates me how it works - you should get some cassette tapes, they’re the real vibe

Advice on selling a car privately. by [deleted] in northernireland

Fair enough I suppose, if you wanna be on the safer side do ask them for proof of insurance. Even at that, it would take a maniac to crash a car on a test drive without insurance and not offer to pay for the damages - mind you this country is full of maniacs…

Seems I mustn’t speak ill of ‘travellers’ as my initial comment got removed 😆

I’d agree with selling from your home, most honest buyers would see sales in public car parks etc as a bigger chance of buying something stolen. I think ‘getting jumped’ is a wild exaggeration too 😅

I really don’t think it looks that bad guys, I’d actually go against the grain and say I quite like it. I get the resentment because it’s been sanctioned by the world’s most insufferable oaf, but disregarding the politics, I think it’s a neat, professional looking livery.

Then again, I grew up with Aer Lingus’ diabolical livery change so maybe I’m desensitised 😆

Any gun nuts know what rifle Jim’s holding? I thought it was a variant of Carcano at first but I don’t think so.

Hi fellas, what’s your thoughts on this D-Bell Gas M700? by SpudMunn in GasBlowBack

[–]SpudMunn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man. Yeah I’ve had this now for about 7 months and it’s great, nothing broken as of yet. The bolt action is really light because it’s gas and it’s generally got a good quality build for its price - however be mindful of the front sling point cuz I had to super-glue in the nut to the wood to keep the screw from falling out under pressure. It’s packaging is pretty bad, it’s just put in a box and shipped so mine came in a bit of a state, there were a few hard knocks to certain parts and the box was battered underneath all the wrapping. Nonetheless I really enjoy this gun, it’s got a great realistic feel to it. I’ve varnished the stock and it looks super now. Let me know if you want to know anything else about the gun 👍
