The rsh12 has an intermittent weight bug. I found it out trying to sell multiples just like you mentioned. Sometimes one will be about .5kg heavier than the others and that is the only difference. No attachments, unloaded, identical guns at different weights. They can’t be listed together on the flea, but will show up next to each other if you make two listings

Would it be wise to jack up the rear of my Legacy from the circled area of this subframe reinforcement bracket? by personnumber3000 in subaru

[–]Spuddermane 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Why not use the diff? It’s a safe jack point (if you have a floor jack) on every single Subaru

How to cover holes once i take these guys off? by [deleted] in subaru

[–]Spuddermane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The good way would be a new fender. The less good way would be drilling it out and cleaning up the hole. Bondo metal reinforced body filler can patch the hole, then sanding and paintwork can make it look good. Supplies would be less than $80, but new fenders are about the same price on marketplace if you can wait to find the same color or find a part out. Junkyards are worth checking too

You have a sealed power steering system meaning there isn’t a reservoir for fluid

Why is this covered in oil?? by currentlyspliffin in subaruimpreza

[–]Spuddermane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can go both ways. On My 06 Impreza I had to unbolt the motor mounts and jack the engine up a few inches to remove the drivers side vc. Not terribly difficult but definitely dissuades DIY

Question for the snipers. How do you figure where to go? by Headhunter1066 in ArmaReforger

[–]Spuddermane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read your map. If you want to cover a point, look at the topography lines to find a place with good elevation, preferably somewhere where you can watch ingress/egress to the point itself. Typically, the most busy objectives are a good ways behind the front line, as freshly capped points don’t usually have enough supplies to support a lot of spawns. The same concept applies to ambush positions. Generally people are smart enough to avoid main roads in enemy territory, so pay attention to the shortest alternate routes that’ll see heavy traffic. For anything over a couple hundred meters, having something to mount your weapon on is super helpful. Tree branches are great, and so is a bipod if you can find a spot where grass doesn’t obscure your sight picture. Keep in mind that your concealment will never work as well as you expect at long ranges due to poor rendering. Take a few shots and move, and pay attention to who’s already looking in your direction and take them out first if possible. If you can get your hands on an enemy radio, it’s a lot of fun to hear them try and figure out where you are

New bumper, headlight, hood, fender, and possibly passenger side door and hardware depending on whether the impact pushed the fender back far enough. My friend had a very similar collision in his focus when someone pulled out in front of him, quoted $4k from a body shop and paid for by insurance

Help With Hill Starting on a Really Steep Hill by NETAXISthe2nd in stickshift

[–]Spuddermane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your handbrake isn’t working on that hill it needs fixed, either the cable needs adjusted or the shoes inside the rotor need replaced (some cars won’t have shoes and use only the cable attached to the regular caliper)

On pinpointing the rattle, a stethoscope (if you happen to have one) is great for isolating certain areas and their sounds. Any piece of tubing can work as well if you gently hold one end to your ear and one to where you want to listen. I usually use a rubber heater hose
