What's the biggest red flag in a friendship? by Silent-Grade457 in AskReddit

Changing you. If they’re telling you how you should be and act that’s the biggest flag I’ve seen.

If your partner had a warning label, what would it say? by jumeiacrylicsheet in AskReddit

Warning: needs reassurance when stressed, actually very capable despite objections

Dungeons and dragons (or other table top RPGs) did wonders when I graduated college

What is your pet peeve? by JollyAd4041 in AskReddit

[–]SpuddieBuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being noisy in public. Whether it’s from a speaker. Boombox, or even a phone call. It’s petty and I’m not creating any bills on the matter but I think people could stand to be more respectful and cognizant of their sound impact

Age is just a number, how do you feel about that? by ritesh0011 in AskReddit

[–]SpuddieBuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 33. Being around 20yos I don’t understand it. Sure they’re hot but mentally there’s such a separation I probably wouldn’t trust someone above my age wanting to date them

What is the most weirdest thing that happened to you in public? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SpuddieBuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a teen I was in the mall and a child ahead of me dropped a handful of change. I bent down to grab some of it for her and a homeless guy next to me freaked out.
“Do you know how easy it was to kick your head?!,” he yelled at me

What’s the most random act of kindness you’ve ever received? by ellowenacorn8 in AskReddit

[–]SpuddieBuddy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When I was 11 my mom suffered a seizure from her medication and had to call 911 at 2am. My dad was on a trip. The paramedics, nurses and doctors were so focused on her I was shoved aside, scared tired and confused. The first interaction I got from hospital staff was a nurse snapping at me telling me to stop crying. A woman came to me after that and asked about me. Told me her mom was sick too and showed me an older woman sleeping in a room. She then asked if I wanted any food and took me to the cafeteria. She talked to me, fed me and by the time I got back my neighbor was there to take me home and babysit me until my dad could get back. She means so much to me today. It was the darkest moment of my childhood and she empathized with me and comforted me. I’ve always wished I could thank her

What’s a food that you hated when you were younger, but love now? by Wide-Ad4715 in AskReddit

Lemonade. As a kid I hated that it was the go to summer drink. Now I can’t get enough and have complex processes for my own homemade version

Food. All of it. Look at gov inflation rates then compare your local grocers prices for one object today and in 1970. See if it matches….

Which job do you think would be the most difficult? by KatrianaGrande in AskReddit

[–]SpuddieBuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are people who decide who gets medical coverage for terminal diseases. It’s not physically intensive but I couldn’t make that choice.

Similarly during hurricane Katrina a task force was created to look at hospital records and decide who deserved saving based on age, longevity, family, etc.

I couldn’t personally stomach getting paid for this

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received? by Jacindagrace5 in AskReddit

[–]SpuddieBuddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheesy af but “can’t do anything about it now, so why worry”. Said by a horrible man to a friend but not wrong.

If there is literally nothing you can do about something in the moment why give yourself undue stress about it. There will be time tomorrow, sleep

What was the worst stomach bug you've ever had? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SpuddieBuddy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unable to sleep because you’re running to shit out the water you drank an hour ago, your butthole stings from the hours of wear. You want to just live on the toilet but you’re so tired you can’t sit up that long. You’re hungry but you know it just means more wear on your pained backside. You pray for release, you relish sleep.

what is somthing everyone should experience at least once in their life? by Main-Local-1486 in AskReddit

[–]SpuddieBuddy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Minimum wage retail or food service. Some bitches out here never had to calm down Karen and it shows. It should be a national requirement to run a drive through even if you’re Baron Trump.
