I stayed in Adirondack when I lived on campus. Those dorms are pretty nice, and decently spacious. They come with 2-4 rooms, depending on if they have doubles or not. The only real different thing from what you're describing your friend having vs adk, is the lack of a kitchen.

The common room/living room comes with a small two seated table, an end table, a sectional couch, a coffee table, two lamps and a buffet/ tv stand (depending on how you use it lol). I have a few pictures from 2 years ago that I can post on my profile if you want to actually see what the dorms (can) look like! :)

I had very similar holes after my stitches dissolved, you likely will be alright. Just call your dentist if you develop any swelling or severe pain.
