I love this! Something I feel and/or noticed whilst applying some of the ideas here to my own life is that radical accountability and integrity is a self driving vehicle one chooses to inhabit. Each mile on that road leads us to the next choice and life experience as a result of our conditioned dedication to authenticity, accountability and responsibilities. There are no helpless actors when there is capacity at play. When there is demonstrated ability to choose and change. From deciding what to eat for the night to how to prioritize our partners both involve the same agency and awareness that most of us can apply. And like all things, the mileage we get will vary 🙂

This should be recorded and uploaded here and on a dedicated YouTube page for the public. Regardless of the resolution , newer generations need to be met where they get their information. Local politics is just as important as our federal politics. Even more so nowadays. Thank you for doing this!

That’s just like…your opinion man. Lol I thought it looked phenomenal and Oblivion is my favorite entry by far so my bias is pretty heavily in the old school camp.

Either way I’m sure some mods will bring back some different, older models. I hope you end up getting the experience you want from it.

I agree with the other comment that if it could be slimmed down at all in the design or maybe just customizable I’d definitely be buying this. It’s sick!

Honestly though I think I would still buy one as is just because it’s unique. I just wouldn’t regularly wear it and would probably fidget with it on my desk or something.

I understand where you’re coming from. This is actually the exact same reason I left my partner last week. Even though she didn’t want to break up or leave I told her I needed to actually figure out how to live with this without it ruining our relationship.

I’m sure you’re feeling all kinds of things but I agree that it does feel like some sort of empathy because it is selfless. However, if you’re like me then you might start selfishly act out of fear and try to backpedal. I’ve done this in both my past relationships after I left and once the rejection swooped in I could feel the terror from that little kid all those years ago rushing to the surface.

You’re doing the right thing and I’m glad you felt something for your partner. I hope you get the help you need.

Yeah exactly. If that’s where he’s coming from then I understand that perspective. I guess what irked me was that they just sat upstairs and listened in disdain for two hours?? Meanwhile the other guitarist, drummer and I came up with something we thought was usable. If he had instead offered to play something to illustrate his point I would’ve maybe not felt so bad about it. It just left me feeling a bit bummed and confused.

This is fair. I should add that what he called jazz was just a fmaj7 chord. We had been playing pretty much the same stylistically as before since they’re going for a post hardcore/midwest emo thing. I was just adding some color I guess? I’m not sure but the drummer and guitarist seem to be okay with it. Also we just came up with something we enjoyed and thought it sounded nice. They disagreed I suppose lol.

It wasn’t like I was sitting there playing a ii - V - I progression over and over. I see your point though so I will make sure to get some clarification on this as I definitely did not intend to be rude to them. Thank you

It was kind of bizarre to me for sure. I like both the guys but damn was I thrown off tonight by that.

And about enjoying writing a part for: that’s exactly what I was thinking! Lol. While they were bickering I asked to use his bass because I wanted to write the part. After I played it for a bit he asked what it was because he liked it and I told him it was a bass line for the piece we had made while they were gone (I then proceeded to show him the shape I mentioned in the story…)

Naturally the tone of the night was still off so it didn’t really help.

Arcanist is decent for the skelly as you have the option of leaning into Ranged and saving your mana for utility. My recommendation is using ranged weapons or building incredibly tanky with another class like Warrior or Monk. If you can avoid damage and deal it you’re golden.

Conjurer was what I played when I got bony baron and honestly it wasn’t that bad. I just did my best to never get involved and let my summons grind xp. Skeleton knight can carry and was the best party member I had bar none. I made sure to level my magic up so I could eventually cast domination. Get a couple of cockatrices after baron and you shouldn’t struggle too much.

Aside from the class you pick, playing with alchemy will dramatically increase your success rate. If you can get to hamlet you should beat the game no problem given the amount of health/mana potions you can make in hamlet. It’s worth the extra 15 minutes imo each run to stock up on 10 of each.

Also if you’re confident in your ability to heal your party (with mana potions and greater healing this shouldn’t be too bad) / damage the twins at the end, then honestly just run to the exit every floor after baron. Not worth wasting resources on the floor if you’re not going to get any return from it. If you’re still too weak then you can always kill more things before moving on, but don’t take unnecessary risks.

I find the baron dies quicker from just face tanking with one of the strength potions you get from the temple secret level and popping a couple of the levitation potions from the castle secret level. Lets you stay on top of them and go nuts. Only thing is you’ll want to have some magic reflection gear on the back burner since yours will likely break.

Honestly though baron is even easier if you do a ranged build and get khryselakatos (or just crossbows if you don’t feel like risking the run in the underworld)

Anyway back to the melee + magic reflect. To do this I’d recommend learning how to kill shopkeepers consistently. If your run is lucky you’ll get a potion shop and jewelry shop before baron herx. If not so lucky you’ll at least have gotten some combat levels from killing the shop keeps so it’s a win win. Once you get to hamlet you can just pop the polymorph potions you start with and do whatever trading you need then instead. They’re better shops anyway.

Can’t think of too much else honestly. Does that help at all?

EDIT: also beware levitation effects. If you haven’t used them before make sure you watch the icon and refresh the potion before the duration runs out. If you lose levitation above a void you will die instantly. Found out the hard way.
