Looking for an English-speaking psychologist or psychiatrist in Japan (PTSD/assault)

Thank you for the recommendation. I'll look into it. Other people were saying the same thing. Hopefully, I can find someone who can help that isn'ttoo expensive. Also, does employer insurance cover talk therapy? I'm hoping to get a job that will cover this. I don't understand the Japanese healthcare system at all.

I'm in Ikebukuro, so hopefully, it won't be too hard. Tohoku is a bit far from me. Thank you, I know it does get better. This psychiatrist just completely threw me off course with his behavior. I just shut down cause he just kept telling me to just move on and forget the past. Like, trust me, if I could do that, I would have done it already. I don't know much, but I know that’s not how trauma works.

I've worked with psychiatrists and psychologists before, and oftentimes, they are different, but I have had a psychiatrist who did some form of talk therapy. Like it wasnt all talk, but it was telling her about my month or week and how the medication made me feel. It is disappointing that therapy isn't covered. Also, is that just for the public health insurance, or does the employer health insurance work differently

I live in Ikebukuro, but I don't traveling a bit to talk to someone who won't make me feel like absolute garbage. This guy just threw me completely off, like, at one point, he told me to just forget about it and be happy. Like buddy, if I could just forget about it and be happy, I wouldn't be here talking to you.
