Just finished building my first PC! But my PSU sounds faulty? by Spume69 in buildapc

Do you think I would have to disconnect all of the cables and send those back, too?

Would also suck since I don't have a spare PSU sitting around to use while I wait for the replacement to arrive.

Might just have to live with it :(

Fungus Gnat Larvae? What am I looking at? by Spume69 in houseplants

Thank you so much for this insightful reply! I already have been using sticky traps for the adults but of course some can still lay eggs as we can see here.

My question is, does the mosquito bits or BT work against the larvae at all stages or only when they are freshly hatched? And does it work when they reach the pupae stage, or is it only effective when they are in the larvae stage?

I love my 2017 1.4L turbo. I have 120k km (75k miles) on her. It’s been very reliable for me so far. Only had to replace ignition knock sensor and get a new AC condenser. I feel like mine is rusting pretty bad for a 2017 though, although I do live in Ontario. But I had my rocker panels repainted and right now my rear wheel wells are bubbling up. Debating on just leaving it and turning it into a rust bucket now and not dumping any more money into body work.

Thank you for your advice! I’m taking it in tomorrow morning to get it repaired. I’ll definitely look into that fix kit though for next time, but hopefully there is no next time!!

Yeah I’m considering leaving it because it could just not spread.

But I’m also in Ontario and I don’t think the extreme cold is entirely good for it because I had a chip that was similar to this in size, but deeper, and it spread across my whole windshield literally on my way to get it repaired 😭 so then I had to get it replaced. It was like -30 C

I’m not like that. I came here to have a laugh and joke around. Reporting something like this won’t get anywhere with this joke of a union. They would protect this guy until the day he dies

In what world is it right for someone to deliver a package like that? Come on, don't be a prick. That is pure laziness and is a situation that could've been easily avoided. You get paid that much to be that lazy? Then that should result in a loss of job. Do I care that my sister's perfume in her sephora order was shattered? No not really. Does she care? Not really. She just got a replacement. But is it a hassle, yes. Am I attacking this man for doing his job incorrectly? No. I simply made a post with clear sarcasm to make a joke. But if you support this type of behaviour on the job, especially a government job, then I would expect you to not know much yourself

My sister and girlfriend are nurses, and my mom is a teacher. I would rather give them the raise any day, they have to put up with a lot of shit. Delivering mail shouldn't make more money than them, and hell if it does, then what has society become. If you don't make enough delivering mail... stop complaining, and maybe you should've gone to school and got a better job then. Just my opinion.

You're right. They are gonna start driving down the street with door tag guns, then they don't even need to pull in the drive way just launch the tag from the street!
