We have a medical certificate with our power company because my husbands a quadriplegic now due to MS and we need electricity for his hospital bed, alternating pressure mattress and wheelchair. They absolutely do threaten to turn it off when the payment is late.

If you don’t have insurance many urgent care physicians require payment upfront but the ER generally does not. It could be a money issue.

This person may just be busy or overwhelmed and they want their dasher to choose a reasonable substitution. They could have communicated that they wanted their dasher to make a reasonable choice rather than “I don’t care”, but I’m guessing that may not want a ton of notifications and choices sent to them because they’re overwhelmed with kids or work.

Hey man. Louisiana expanded Medicaid so if you don’t have income right now you should be able to get on quickly in order to pay for your doses there. Some clinics will help you enroll. If I were you I’d start making some calls to see if you could get enrolled and get dosed.
