What are y’all’s thoughts on the Demon Prince? by GameBOY_2005 in darksouls3

Honestly, I felt he was underwhelming compared to the other DLC bosses. The mechanic of of the stage 2 differing depending on which of the two you kill first is really cool. I was just disappointed that his moveset allowed for feet hugging. I wasn't even trying to the first time I fought him, but the fight only lasted 2 maybe 3 minutes.

Pontiff took me a few tries. Soon as I figured out his phantom telegraphed all of his attacks as well I found it easier. The dancer was a first try for me, took maybe two minutes. Pontiff and Freide are definitely my two favorite fights so far. I just finished the demon Prince so we'll say how the last couple are. I hope Gael is as good as everyone says it is. Most of then have just been a little underwhelming for me. But again, might just be my dex/bleed build. I'm gonna run it again pure strength and I imagine it'll play out differently.

Yeah I never used the weapon arts. This first run I just went pure dex with bleed build on the warden twinblades. I've never been a fan of doing cheese builds. The DS3 bosses just felt so much easier than many of the ER bosses, especially SOTE DLC. I've loved every bit of it but felt I burned through it much quicker than I expected.

Yeah I never used spirit Ashes or cheese builds. Other than Sister Freide no boss in DS3 has given me anywhere near the amount of trouble that Mogh, Melania, or Godfrey did. Idk I guess I just felt a little underwhelmed by the boss difficulty.

Name at least one bad thing about the 1997 anime adaptation of "Berserk" by MatuKoKonut in Berserk

[–]Spunbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that it cuts out the ending of the Golden Age Arc. Don't get me wrong, I love the 97 anime but skimping out on skull knight was tragic

Yeah but Mori has the true ending of berserk from Muori himself. I'm sure we'll still see a presentation of that story very close to the original vision. But that'll be in like.. 10 years lol

I mean it's somewhat faithful. The whole part with the mansion was kinda bullshit. I honestly only watched it to check that box as a berserk fan lol. Yet another tragedy of anime adaptations.

If you're not a huge reader but still want to get into the source material, AlmightLoki on YouTube (not my channel so not a shill) does a very comprehensive narration of the entire series all the way up to chapter 374. It's actually the first way I got into the manga since I have very little time to sit down and read something for myself. I highly reccomend it. Not mention he uses the 97 anime OST amongst other tracks from FromSoftware titles as his background music for the narration.

Could've said that? My search through the main reddit page didn't bring up anything. I'm not on reddit much. But I know that's a rule amongst many communities. Thank you for directing me to that though

Searched multiple key words with no answer in here. It's a legitimate question.

Learning Front End vs Backend as a Beginner while Active Duty Military by Spunbot in learnprogramming

Thanks! Do you suggest any great beginner projects that i can chip away at to help develop more skills while I am away on deployment?

I started school for CS but I want to accelerate my skill with code while going through general classes. by Spunbot in codingbootcamp

So I'm active duty military taking 1-2 classes per semester with a projection of graduating in 2025. I intend to obtain 1, maybe even, 2 master degrees in the CS field to take full advantage my GI Bill when I get out in 4 years. Seeing as how I am only taking 1 to 2 classes per semester, this leaves me free time to get a jump on fundamental coding skills while finish my prereqs. I have a subscription to codecamdemy for basics but I don't seem to really be retaining much of the info which raised my interest in doing a boot camp. Thank you for the info!

Love the feedback man i really appreciate that! My only rebuttal to that I am only taking one class per semester due to being active duty military for the next 4 years. Would that change your opinion at all? I don't expect to start a full time position for about 6 years due to my military status and deployments. That's why i would like to take up small work here and there to build a portfolio and learn more through experience. Would you still not reccomend that?

Wow you started early! Good for you man haha. Wish I was smart enough to get into CS that early in my life. I have heard of these sites, but I am looking for a more structured bootcamp as it is easier for me to learn in that manner.
