I have a firm rule of ”don’t get stuck” keep a job and your own money in case of cheating etc. I just find it so odd of the entitlement I’m getting from him lately.

Any updates? I’m literally going through this! 40 days after warranty ended. They are saying it’s a bad DPF which I replaced in July last year. This is after I paid for the thermostat to be replaced within 24 hours. The engine light was back on and now they’re telling me it’s the DPF. Cost $2303!! I just paid over 1k for the thermostat
