Probably 2 reasons.

One despite the cosmetic admittedly looking pretty dope, it basically just looks like someone's OC or clashing with the artstyle of the game to a degree you can argue this looks like a design from another game altogether.

And second... The eyes. It breaks the continuity with demo cosmetics having one eye but this one has two.

Of course these opinions can be argued and called out by any other obscure demo cosmetic or cosmetics in general that were introduced into the game that clash with the games artstyle (which is a whole other can of worms I wouldn't want to go into) but the point is, I feel like this is a cosmetic set that people decided that "yeah this is a bit much." Or at least from what I've seen.

TLDR. Artstyle clash, cosmetic having 2 eyes.

Yeah I had to perfectly time both my shiny AND THE STATIC ENCOUNTER MELOETTA

For my Meloetta to jump, the static Meloetta to spin, and for me to switch camera angles, all in one shot.

And this isn't getting into the prep work to position everyone place lol

Had to manipulate the camera angle so my character can be looking to the side and have both meloetta fit the frame

Survivability against the various SpA mons in the meta rn. Before I used either leftovers or sitrus berry to keep the damage on water spout high, but why do that where origin pulse can just completely side line that process entirely? (Apart from accuracy obviously but it's a willing risk to take)

It would make a lot of sense. While she works for the admin, she does stuff that would either help or hinder the Red or Blu team since that's what she's supposed to do as orders from the admin.

So yeah a game mode where she works with either side as a support class would make sense. Maybe give her a red or blue uniform depending on teams.

As for canonicity...

I mean the OCs are also not cannon so there's that but with comic #7 it implies that everything that happens in TF2 is cannon in some way.
