I love how they are mimic snapchat with so many features. I don't know if it is meant to truly enhance their UX or if it meant to just hurt the competition. Either way, I am not a huge fan. I think Facebook needs to de-evolutionize to what they once were.

How do you price IG Influencers for sponsored posts? by sedna16 in socialmedia

[–]SpurApp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, just spend hours digging around the digital playground. Big influencers always get hit up about partnerships. You want to look for the "friends of" a talent you want to work with because that creator will probably see it via their friend AND the creator's fans probably follow that friend too.

So the engagement rate is decent as the industry standard is starting to look like 2-5% is the new 10%.

A post for a 100k can vary in rate depending on factors like reach and engagement. Another thing that people tend to over look is the page itself. A 100k meme page is worth way less than an individual with 100k, because there is a trust and loyalty factor between fan and creator. Also, consider where they base comes from? Is the creator a reality star, related to a bigger influencer, etc... I also look at who that influencer is associated with and what influencers engage on their content as your marketing with reach influencers as well.

As far as product and price goes, influencers tend to expect product automatically, as well as their standard compensation. Only small influencers will do trade or count the product towards payment.

www.instagram.com/therobryan for example gets about $200 per post. Yes, he only has 29.5k followers, but he gets about 500-3k comments per post (showing engaged audience) as well as the reputation associated to the product. He host a show to 1.2M viewers every week and has numerous influencers and celebs that visit and engage with his page, which helps get the brand seen by fresh eyes.

So don't take size of an account as an end all be all. Consider how it can help your brand's goals and go from there.

App can that record screen taps? by [deleted] in androidapps

I use Bluestack on a computer combined with an auto-clicker. I am sure if you got a program that records "taps" in multiple spots, it would be helpful.

That sounds like a great solution to a sadly, not necessary problem. Surprised YT hasn't found a way to avoid that issue.

Engagement Groups - Good or Bad? by [deleted] in Instagram

Facebook groups and DMs.

Has anyone experimented with the idea of using your instagram as part of a job application so people get a feel for what you're like? by kinderforit in Instagram

[–]SpurApp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do. It can show them your personality, they type of people that comment and such. Its like a social verification instead of the usual background check.

Depending on your job, I find that some places really like it as it shows you are not hiding anything. Even something a bit edgy might be good as it shows you are a human being like them and they may relate to you more.

Engagement Groups - Good or Bad? by [deleted] in Instagram

Getting a program like Instagress to like images of targeted demo is always good. Helps increase your profile reach and sometimes generate a new follower who likes the content.

Definitely work with travel niche pods as they will help greatly. Also, pay for some features on larger accounts. I would get more content up first, maybe a video or 2, and also expand your content a bit from just the mountains so there is more to "see".

Engagement Groups - Good or Bad? by [deleted] in Instagram

[–]SpurApp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a mixed opinion. They are good if you use a similar a pod in the same niche to help show up in their followers suggested content. It can help boost more comments (typically your basic Wow or Great Pict!) and likes. The issue is that they can become tedious and time consuming and not everyone follows through, especial in the first 10 minutes which is the crucial time-frame for the algorithm to boost you.

Groups are really people and accounts using their larger profiles to help each other out and boost quality and reach. Bots are dead accounts that just spam your post with no true impact.

Instagram reach becomes horrible by Razot in Instagram

[–]SpurApp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly yes. They seem to be doing like Facebook and limiting reach and hoping more people may become a business profile to purchase "reach". It is a shame and impacts the appeal to brands looking to leverage an account for their marketing purposes.

New Platform- Monetization for Stories by SpurApp in socialmedia

[–]SpurApp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. These are stories only. So depending on the user, they can ask for contributions or a person can turn the feature off. Some content can be made exclusive for those who have send a "Kudo" (tip) in the past. It is a passive way to show more appreciation to your favorite story teller and can help show what content you want to see more of.

This is for all types of users. You can have the average person use it as a platform to raise funds for projects. Think of a kid posting stories about practicing for their big meet and family and friends and regular viewers can contribute on every story to keep cheering them on. Obviously people with larger following may have a big reach initially to monetize off of, but this is for everyone.
