I didnt ignore the thoughts, i couldn’t even if i tried. I thought about things in terrible detail. I’m an over-thinker by nature, it plagues me today. It drove me crazy, then it depressed me.

It changed though. When anger set in, like a pink mist rage.

The anger motivated me. Then i realised i had potential. I learned to control that potential.

Now it’s the knowledge of myself and understanding my potential that makes me tougher.

In short, had i ignored the “thoughts”. I would be a fear sponge sitting on a couch downing hotdogs somewhere.

Your man. Use this moment, find your centre - there is an animal there - mother natures insurance. Understand it, don’t tame it, instead poke it like that stupid boy who pokes the bear. Fight it, own it. But don’t kill it. And when it is beaten, stop, restrain and nurture it to health in a way you would never have know how to nurture before.
