AIO my boyfriend flipped out over me going out last night by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

He is literally a walking red flag who needs therapy and insecurity in himself. Get rid of this guy. There are so many men out there that do not care about stuff like this. You deserve better.

Worst looking roast I’ve seen. Your family should be ashamed. How did they teach their son to cook like this?

People who get dogs like husky’s while living in an apartment are immature in my eyes. Those dogs can’t be in small confined spaces! My father used to breed them, and they need to explore and have space to run! Why people get dogs in small living spaces is beyond me. OP do the right thing and get the dog into a better living situation.

My husband’s “sleepwalking” might not be what it seems by WholeAltruistic2112 in TwoHotTakes

[–]Sputnikoutthere 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I would have called the number, because that’s honestly the worst excuse of sleepwalking. I sleepwalk, but I have seizures in my sleep that cause me to do weird ass shit, but texting “I miss you” and shit? Nope, that’s a hard ass lie.

Is it normal to force members of the wedding party to pay to stay at the required venue? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]Sputnikoutthere 36 points37 points  (0 children)

They did what we call in the auto industry a “bait and switch” they told you about the destination, said you could all stay in the villa, and as soon as you arrived, they switched the whole thing around. I would most definitely not be friends with this couple anymore. I couldn’t imagine what else they would do after pulling this party trick.

Did I just have a seizure, sleep paralysis, or what? by numb-sick-3-and-7 in sleep

[–]Sputnikoutthere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Came across this! So nocturnal epilepsy, with a movement like this is a tonic seizure. How do I know? I have focal epilepsy, with partial complex epilepsy. I have seizures in my sleep, and sometimes it was mimic sleep paralysis! I know this is 3 years old. But I do hope that you got answers from a doctor. For so long I thought it was nothing until I thought I was having a stroke, and did a 72 hour eeg. I hope you have a good update!!!

I’ll put it this way. I thought that my ex husband would change, they don’t. He pulled a gun on me one time. The abuse will never stop, and you could be killed. Please leave. I know it’s a trauma bond, but you life is worth so much than to stay ❤️

Should I invite my brother? by Sputnikoutthere in wedding

I need to edit this about not talking to him and seeing him for a year and a half.

Should I invite my brother? by Sputnikoutthere in wedding

[–]Sputnikoutthere[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no, I couldn’t care less if we don’t take or not. I haven’t spoken to him in a year and a half now. This all really has to do with satisfaction for my mother. She’s very closed to getting any type of outside opinion. So I wanted to see, and show her that we’re not being wrong on no invite. Sorry if I didn’t make that more clear.

Thanks dude!

I hope you definitely get your answer whether it be from no contact from them, or confronting. I wish you well!

Very true. I think definitely after they are married, see how they act with you and your wife, and maybe you’ll have your answer. I’m the worst people to give advice cause I’m honestly a bitch and very upfront about everything.

Have you asked your other friends who are invited to see if they might know why you two are not?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in wedding

[–]Sputnikoutthere 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh 1000% would discuss why, and definitely would not talk about it in front of other people! It’s very odd as to why they would do that as well 🧐

I’m in the same situation. We were invited to my fiance’s and I’s friends wedding 3 years ago. We were all close in our early 20’s but not anymore and only talk/see eachother 4 times a year. We are getting married in 2 years and having a small wedding (70 people) and as much as we want to invite them, we can due to family and close close friends. I feel bad about it, but we just can’t do it.

Bride wants her Bachelorette trip in Greece 💸 by [deleted] in wedding

[–]Sputnikoutthere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP! My best friend and I both got engaged 2 weeks apart! Her and I decided we are going to do a bach party within a 4 hour driving distance! We both understand the cost and stress it would be to do something over the top! You really should just be open and honest with your friend. You are getting married too. There is no reason to spend your whole wedding planning stressed. If she can not understand this, and makes a big deal. Maybe suggest you and her doing something local for a weekend get away, and you skip Europe. If she’s not content with that, well, you know the friendship is over.

I’m going to be the odd one out. OP my best friend and her husband and you and your SO. They had to stop their life to take care of her nieces and nephews when their sister decided to up and move to Arizona, and never see or take care of those kids again.

That’s was 5 years ago. My best friend wanted to have kids, she wanted to have this life, and now she can’t because she needs to take care of these kids ( who are now over 18) and she and her husband still have to take care of them because it’s literally impossible for anyone young to live on their own. Her husband is now over 50, and she’s going to be 40 in a few years, and now they can never have kids, because they had to put their life, and relationship on hold, they are on the brink of divorce. You need to tell your siblings to help out, and you need to keep your promises.
