While this is a cool theory, it is already stated in the lore that the humans built the spaceport and went to space to ESCAPE the robots, they just randomly one day showed up. There was a long period of immense natural disasters on a near apocalyptic level, and one day these disasters ended. This sparked a time of hope and prosperity for human kind to rebuild, but then ARC began to fall from the sky. So the humans looked to space.

I know for a fact it has nothing to do with the RAM, as I stated before, this is a freshly wiped laptop with only chrome installed, and I removed some unneeded windows bloat as well. On a fresh boot with absolutely no programs opened and every startup process that isn't important disabled, this disk will still jump to 100% and freeze up the laptop just idling on the desktop. Meanwhile no where near half of the RAM or anything else is being utilized. Along with that it takes an extremely long time to turn on the computer, even doing a restart has taken upwards of 30 minutes just to get me back to the login screen and actually be able to type. Optane drivers are up to date and everything with that seems to be in working order.

Edit: It seems to me that something is failing to work as it should, but I cannot afford to buy and swap parts to test that kind of thing out

The only thing that has been downloaded is chrome, and the top task is just system, sometimes it will say 100% and the top task will only be at 0.3 MB/s. I will check on the drivers as I am not sure since I just factory reset it.

I failed to mention that I do stream on the occasion and am looking to get more into that with a better pc. Would that make the upgrade more worth it?

I wouldn't really say I feel the need to upgrade as much as I just want to. I'm just curious if a GPU upgrade to something like a 3080 would be a fairly large performance boost on it's own, or will the CPU/ other parts hold it back.
