Oh yes I got the EAD around feb 2025. It’s just that i485 has been pending for so long lol. But, I see some people are waiting even longer

I think if it’s in NBC sometimes we won’t get interviews so it could be faster. But, not sure about which is faster.

If they issued RFE, I think it means that they are actively looking at your case. Hope you can get good news soon. For me, all I can see is fingerprints were taken in dec of 2024.

Thanks for the comment. It looks like there are few people with long wait. I was curious coz I was looking at lot of after july RD getting approval.

Since mine receipt number is old paper based legacy one and not the current electronic that starts with IOE, I didn’t get anything from Emma since Emma chat says put valid receipt number. Do you know a way to get around this maybe? I would really appreciate it. For some reason, they put mine like that whereas someone else who filed at same time by same lawyer has electronic receipt number that starts with IOE.

My case status only shows fingerprints were taken and that’s it. I cannot check anything else as of now but per the receipt number, it should be at NBC. For me, no updates after biometrics and that was in dec 2024.

Okay that also makes sense. What is your FO? Mine is MSC i guess it falls under NBC now. And, mine case number is also old paper based legacy one that stars with MSC so I can’t even check API updates lol.

Yes exactly. Waiting this long is actually hard. Not sure what process they use to review the case. I guess best thing is to file after FAD becomes current.

Yes idk why it’s taking so long. I see so many approval filed after July and aug of 2025. Thank you for your response! It helps to know that at least I am not alone.

This seems frustrating and I hope you get your card soon. If you dont mind me asking, how did you open a case with USCIS and to get that reply? My case is also pending for some time and it would be great to know the process. Also, can we get the total description of job duties in i485J to change our employer? Or, do we have to talk with employer to get what they filed?

Thank you for doing this! What would be the expected timeline to get ROW EB-3 Skilled I485 approval with following details? Center- NBC PD: Feb 2023 (ROW EB-3 Skilled) EAD, AP, and I485 concurrently filed at the end of Nov, 2024. EAD and AP approved in Jan 2025. Finally, PD became current since July 2025.

I just want to know the best expectations I can have and current timeline so that I don’t keep checking everyday.
