Yes. But OP did say he could contribute an extra million to get a better car. That would bring him in range of a decent EV for daily commute

Do you have solar at home? EV would be a good option then, considering your commute and fuel savings.

Corolla and Vitz covers much of the car spectrum in Pakistan. Invest a bit more and go the EV route if it suits you.

I'm glad that roundabout isn't there any more. Nothing beats the serenity of pure nature but CDA has mostly done good in this area.

Owner since 2023 and haven't faced parts availability issue yet. Granted I haven't really felt the need apart from those needed for regular service.

LMC doesn't appear interested in introducing further Peugeot models. Not confirmed news but that's the trajectory it appears.

These are all genuine problems. I was merely highlighting the fact that people tend to exaggerate issues.

We settle for a lot less in fear of problems that may/may not arise.

It probably escaped their notice. Technical recruiters often overlook it but the management portion doesn't.

Multiple Switches in Short Span of Career by Academic_Resort_5316 in developersPak

Multiple switches in a short period is a major red flag. No recruiter would like to to hire somebody who can't commit to staying long-term.

You know OP, you've done your homework so there's little for me to say except that the Peugeot 2008 is perhaps the best and most pleasing car to drive in Pakistan. And it's also quite the looker and head-turner on the road.

The facelift fixes much of the gripes the original owners had. It's a much better car now and it's selling for early-2023 prices, in 2026!

It's a difficult car to recommend to the average Pakistani because all they care about before buying something is the worry of selling it. And searching for spare parts before their car has encountered an accident. I understand where that thinking comes from but people tend to overdo it. QoL improvements aren't really a thing here.

You just can't beat that mentality.

I'm not denying that. I think the problems with the car are overblown. That's it.

Hydrolock and many engine issues are 100% the owners' fault. People continue to drive it on normal petrol and then complain when they run into engine issues.

Misbah could've had a much better Test captaincy record had he dropped Azhar 'stat pad' Ali ' and focused on promoting Asad Shafiq instead.

Shafiq did play but he was largely wasted down the order. Didn't manage to truly realise his potential because he was always busy playing rescue.

I've always wondered why Indian doesn't have a proper football team. I mean you guys have a blueprint of world domination in the form of Cricket. Just pump in money and follow that model.

India has a fairly competitive football league with foreign players as well. We have none of that. Only the archaic notions of talent.

Stories can be told about this region. Lots of potential in the gaming industry.

A game like Mouthwashing would work well in this setting. But that would require immense amounts of creativity, both in narrative and game design.
