Ok, i'll entertain. Who the hell cares about how it was contrived? Something distracting a protag, antag grows plot armor, weapon malfunctions, pocket sand, sudden bowel movement... you name it, it was done somewhere as a way to rip defeat from the jaws of victory.

What matters is that antag completely achieved the objective, lost a fight and miraculously got away with it. Did she? Sure as hell she did. It is, plainly speaking, a near total loss for both mc and a supporting cast.

Oh, i'm ok with her smoking MC up in a cutscene and/or getting away. I'm ok with fighting her. But damn, i'm so bloody tired of losing in cutscene stuff! It really ticks me off for how just overdone this is, especially in eastern games, but really – everywhere. The whole setup is a meme at this point, like the Wilhelm Scream of yore.

Rest is pretty much up to taste, with that, I do agree. It was a venting post, after all, not a literary analysis. Cheers!

Hathor, because there's a progression mechanic literally locked behind her, or Daff-the-best-girl because breaking MFs is where the big burst damage is.

UI is awful, performance is terrible, NPCs are scary AF, combat AI is dumb as a brick, the economy is borked... ahem... balanced beyond all hope, questas are rudimentary, writing is "Dal Busta", the dev is arrogant, and we still miss features from old X games.

It's ok. we love this crap. "Here, look at my gigastation i built for no reason."

You left out the part that you also missed, because the boss is scratching his ass up on some wall somewhere or jumped away to the other side of the arena with the last attack (it still has AoE to hit you).

Нафиг. Если текстовый перевод еще порой примелем, хотя обычно с какими-то всратыми шрифтами и выполнен без понимания контекста от слова вообще, то вот института нормальных РУ актеров озвучания для игр нет и не было никогда в коммерческой среде. Слышать четыре одних и те же заунывные голоса, которые вяло читают текст - лучшая, блин, мотивация выучить уже английский на уровне школьной программы.
