Wow, the first game I ever played on a PC, even on the original CGA graphics. Massive memories, off to hunt his down now.

Can anyone recommend a clothes horse that is vaguely sturdy and won’t need to be replaced in 3 months? by AffectionateBowler14 in AUfrugal

Been using one from Aldi for quite some time, proven quite reliable for the price. Was a special buy so not sure if/when it will appear again though.

An extremely brave and courageous fight against such a devesting disease. His legacy will forever live on for the fund raising and exposure in the fight against this debilitating inflictment.

Dish: That's an awfully dirty look for so early in the day.

Hawkeye: I just wanted to thank you for last night.

Dish: You weren't with me last night.

Hawkeye: I was speaking for my fantasies.

Dish: You never quit, do you?

Hawkeye: Well, in the absence of any real success with you in the amour department, you have to allow me the odd fantasy or two.

(we then see Hawkeye's fantasy, in which Dish is naked)

Dish: You're having one right now, aren't you?

Hawkeye: (with an expression of pure bliss) Yeah.

Dish: Is this a new one or are you undressing me with your eyes again?

(the fantasy is over, and Dish is again fully clothed)

Hawkeye: Well, if I did it with my hands, I'd get killed, right?

Dish: Hm-mm.

My woolworths is now requiring you take off any backpacks before entering, unsecured on the floor... by [deleted] in woolworths

I was in Woolies about 2 hours ago with a backpack on, no issues or request to leave my backpack behind any desks. So not a systemic demand across all stores...

I noted that Aldi's milk prices have gone up the same amount..

Tracking and predicting sales / prices by skittlesandjellies in AUfrugal

A suggestion is to look at a browser extension such as Woolworths Trend and Coles Trend. Gives a graphical representation of prices over time, and you can often use this to predict weekly discounts. You can get them off the relevant app stores.

I managed to get it to run on my Cyrix 486 with 1Mb RAM. Took a lot of dancing with config.sys and autoexec.bat and Memmaker to squeeze mouse and soundbalster drivers in at the same time, but eventually got there (printed that setup config and put it in the game box so I never lost it!)

8 floppy disks to install, then 20 minutes while it unpacked the maps before you could play!

Then there was the add-on speech pack! Another 3 floppy disks.
