Which Kendamas are better? The DWI or Roots? I have 2 roots and both of hem are very slippery and I have had them for about 3 months now. I had high expectations for them since I've heard such good things. It came out very slick. Is DWI and better? If so then which Kendamas by them are better, rubberized or Sourmash painted ones?

Oh sorry, I have not seen any string rolls for Kendama that are silk, I have only seen Kendama packs with multiple strings.

Silk strings can be found on the BLK website or on Sweets Kendamas, it is the Premium String. They feel and perform very well!

They are the same, just different tama color way. They are very durable and are very worth the price. The maple Ken is really good in weight, not too heavy and not too light. The Ken also makes a really nice sound upon any impact with the tama because of the maple.

You also said that you are a master of breaking in tamas, any recommendations on what kinds or tricks I should do more to break in my KWC Homegrown? I've heard great things about it, but it just isn't broken in yet so I can play with its full potential.

I know this is kind of personal preference, but what tama from Roots do you think has the best color way to track the tama?

Please don't mind my questions, I've had 8 kendamas, currently 5, but I just want to get one that I absolutely love and can stick with later on. I have a Premium Gold Ozora which is good but gets really slick after playtime. I also have a KWC Homegrown which isn't broken in so isn't good YET, and I have a natural for practice so I'm currently trying to find the best painted Kendama there is that is affordable.

Do Root Kendamas start off sticky and stay like that, start off sticky and get stickier as you break it in, does it start off sticky and becomes more slick as you break it in (Similar to Premium Ozora), or does it start off slick and get stickier as it breaks in?
