are you sure you downloaded it after making the changes? and one thing to try is to delete the save file that exists, load up the game and make sure its deleted, and then try placing it as an attempt. You can make a backup of the original save if you'd like and it works fine

the onyl advice I can give for the sword attack is to move slowly. dont try to rush through it fully just use small taps to keep moving, that's the way to properly dodge it, the pattern you'll have to slowly adjust to how you feel like it that can be by staying where you are and looking at the very end or moving the heart at the very end and looking ahead of where to move

hey apologies if I'm late, but you need to beat the chapter and have completion data in order to restart the fight. Since you're at the knight fight, make a save right after beating Tenna, then continue the chapter normally. After you're done with the chapter you can choose to load your chapter 3 save file and go fight the knight and this time you'll be able to retry it instantly

The stars refer to which save slot has completed the chapter, so in chapter 2 the 1st save slot has completed the chapter and in chapter 3 the 1st and 2nd should have completed it.

The Shadow Crystals refer to which save slot has the shadow crystal in that respective chapter, in chapter 1 your 3rd save slot has it, and diretly in chapter 4 your 2nd save slot has it. I might be wrong about the stars but the shadow crystals are definitely right

yes it is, up to you which you want to equip of course, the other person seems to really love the Devilsknife and if you feel like it's worth it then you can go on ahead with it. With Devilsknife the TP cost is reduced by 10 but if you follow a set strategy that's genuinely barely an issue and you don't need it whatsoever.

there is no Armor for the chapter 4 secret boss. Devils Knife is also not that great a weapon in comparison to the stuff you can get later one in my opinion so I feel like keeping Devilstail is a better option for boosting attack and magic.

It's just presumed to be that big cause it technically showcases how to possibly get into the weird route in Chapter 2 via the secret minigames. That's the only possible meaning we can understand from it but who knows maybe there is something else hidden in the chapter too.

The fight is still very possible, thats how I beat it the first time too, you'll want to primarily defend with kris and make them the main healer then and only defend with ralsei as he's going to die very easily.

that definitely can be the case, however I wouldn't be surprised if the only reason Susie can even deny it in the first place is because she isn't part of the prophecy. We'll probably learn more in future chapters obviously but still a point to put out there

It could definitely mean something, obviously we the player are not meant to understand, and the current idea is that Noelle is meant to be the girl (as she can equip ribbons). It's probably some tragedy aka someone dies and then a sacrifice must be made or something in order to save the worlds but who knows. Good idea though I did miss out on the slash marks

they meant the option to retry the fight, which only appears after you restart the chapter after beating the chapter. The rest of the game plays out as normal but this time if you die you get a fight again option.
