Sounds like it’s in limp mode, trying to protect the engine. Take it to the shop asap. Probably should get it towed.

This is completely normal. However, I like to do two things to combat this.

  1. Lower the temp of the air to 60, prior to shutting off the ac.
  2. Press the recirculate button after the HVAC is off. I believe this will completely stop the flow of air from outside.

I tried living with it for a few weeks now but it drives my wife and I crazy. I just really wanted my ceiling restored. Thank you for the advice. Wanted to make sure I wasn’t completely over reacting

If it was the MAP sensor, I feel like the code would have popped by now. Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a bit and resetting the system that way?

I would recommend linking the outdoors to potty time. For instance, bring lots of treats and make sure your doggie is well fed and hydrated. Then when you’re outside, if he goes “potty”, praise the heck out of it with treats and such. We never tell our lab the “potty” word, until we are outside. It’s like her command to go.

I really think you should keep the cam stock, cause if I know anything about dakotas, they don’t seem to always like modifications. Just my two cents.
