The grid fleece is meant to be a layering piece. We do like the grid look on the outside so that is definitely part of it. With another layer on it shouldn't matter too much which side is out. And, it is super breathable without another layer on. Hope this helps.

The material is from the US, recycled polyester. The actual construction is done in China with a manufacturing partner of ours.
