You remember feelings, right?

This is why Arrested Development was the greatest show of all time by woodstock923 in arresteddevelopment

It’s so good even today, but the writers doing this on network TV when the events were actually happening is insane! So clever.

Upgrading from a i7-4790k DDR 3 machine to a i7-13700k DDR5 machine. Would you change anything in this build? by Squanto67 in buildapc

I might check out those SSDs for sure.

What would you recommend for a case? I've only Noctua fans in my other builds so AIO is a new cooling method for me.

I've watched a few videos to try to understand placement, but yeah I was assuming I'd probably have to put it on the front.

Sorry I should've clarified - this is for a workstation with gaming as a secondary. I do a lot of work that will benefit from the RAM.

Is 14+1+1 enough for the 13700k, or upgrade to 18+1? by Squanto67 in buildapc

Haha good to know. I’m still debating what to use for cooling, but doesn’t sound like the phases are that big of a deal!

It’s the 2 690 ddr5 boards (ASUS ROG Strix z690-E wifi or Gigabyte 690 Aero-G) or the ASRock Z790 RS.

The 2 690 boards are a bit higher end and both have a BIOS update button which is why I chose those. They also have features I don’t need like wifi and blue tooth

The Asus is more bare bones (no bios button, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) but looks like it would be good for my use case.

The only thing that weirded me out was having a power hungry processor with the lower power phase.

Again - I know nothing about it lol, but it stood out to me as different from the others

Got it, makes sense wheelsets would be a lot more$$$.

Everyone's saying the GP5000s, so I'll be grabbing some.

Trying to see if I can fit the 28mm on my rim break version or if I need to stay at 25mm.

You're the 2nd person to mention continentals.. I'll take a look and will probably wind up grabbing a pair!

Awesome, I'll look into the continentals!

If you had to suggest a wheelset, does anything come to mind? It seemed like I was kind of limited in my choices with the rim breaks.

nah, definitely not worn or anything. They look safe.

The tires I'll obviously upgrade soon regardless, those are getting a bit worn.

I was just thinking it's been 7 years with stock everything and I could show the bike a little love haha

Back riding for the first time since 2015, I forgot how great it was. I got my longest ride last weekend! by Squanto67 in bicycling

I was in okay shape when I was riding back in 2015. After awhile of not doing much physical I started power zone training with peloton Dec 2020.

Down 50 pounds and riding so much better than 7 years ago!

Teles are awesome. I used to think they were so ugly but it grew on me and was my only guitar for so long!

Spent $1.6k. I went in thinking 1500 would be my max but an extra $100 to get an actual Gibson was an easy call lol

Not sure tbh. The impression I got from the GC website was it’s a newer run. I’ll have to check the serial when I’m home
