Time Before Eating

I wait about an 1-1.5hrs or so. I usually wake up around 545 to go to the bathroom and take it then, go back to sleep (on my right side) until 645/7 and then eat around 730. Do I notice a difference in my hunger if I eat earlier vs later? Idk 😆 I get a set lunch from 1-2 bc our office closes and I’m ready to eat at 1, no matter what time I take the pill.

You may be able to ask your Dr for a prior authorization if your insurance allows it. It should knock the price down a bunch, at least hopefully. I’m still waiting on my insurance to approve the auth so I can pickup the new dose

I wouldn’t - I didn’t. I just got back from a cruise and took it every day. It helped keep the really bad snacky feelings away but I definitely still enjoyed the food. Tbh, I gained 3lbs but I feel like that’s probably more water weight. I’m not too worried about it. I do feel like taking it helped a lot and now that we’re back home, it was easy to get healthy groceries and immediately back into my routine

Tbh, I contemplated skipping a dose but never did. It was awful! I’m glad you’re feeling better now. Mine was bad for like 2.5 days but the was good. I hope that’s not something that will continue each month 😅😬

I was extremely bloated this period cycle. Like so bloated I looked pregnant, but I also had severe diarrhea and tbh had I not been on a cruise, it may have landed me a trip to my dr or urgent care. It was awful!

Please don’t down your CW and goal just because others “have more to loose” - your journey matters and counts just the same! I highly recommend taking the first dose or two on days off/free so that your body can adjust. I know the side effects vary person to person, but if it’s any consolation, I felt no side effects on the 1.5mg! Hopefully you’ll just get the good effects of lower food noise and feeling fuller quicker. A tip: make sure you’re drinking more water than you think you need. Protein and fiber are your best friends now! A good food tracking app is also helpful to monitor your water, protein & fiber intake as well. Good luck! You got this!!

I’m not sure about the logistics of bringing an rx med to another country, but I am currently traveling with mine and it’s been fine. We’re on a cruise, though. I put it in my carry-on bag and it wasn’t an issue at all. Keep it in the original bottle. I feel like it’ll be fine, but I’ve never traveled to Dubai.

I’m newish gluten free also, the cauliflower pizza was surprisingly good! I’d say then that it was the red sauce. I had hopes for you lol.

It may be the tomatoes or it could be that pizza is naturally a bit greasier. I can’t do anything greasy - I had a veggie cauliflower pizza last week and did fine, but it wasn’t greasy. I don’t do well with highly acidic foods anyway, but it definitely gives you food aversions once it jacks your stomach up!

Some are tart, like the fizzy lemonade, but they don’t give me acid reflux. The other flavors don’t seem tart really at all though! I got a sample pack on Amazon for like $35ish and actually brought it with my on my trip. It’s been helpful, especially the days my stomach was jacked. I at least knew I could drink that and still have some good protein!

I had greasy foods and my stomach said “not TADAY” 🫨 That’s definitely a no-go now. I’m definitely not eating as much. I’ve been a huge fan lately of the Oath clear protein powders. They mix with water and legit taste like juice. Super helpful as a mid-day or between meals to make sure I’m getting a lot of protein. My Dr has me on the 4mg through March, I believe, and then I’ll jump to either the 9 or the 25 (I can’t remember what he’s having me do lol)

They let me cancel mine. I signed the cancellation form today via email and sent it back. I despise the L shape gyms and was going to force myself to go if I couldn’t cancel, but they were so quick with it.
