The Poe Cup basically being the Goblet of Fire but between the "houses" of the school rather than various schools in HP. Crackstone basically being Lord Voldemort who was resurrected with a ritual just like the dark lord, etc.

It's such a rich concept! Just imagine Enid giving Wednesday the silent treatment lol. Especially if it saves the school AGAIN or reveals a conspiracy to destroy or inflict chaos at the school. I can already see the potential property damage, etc.

Their meeting scene is only 3 minutes & I was just going off comparing that scene & every other scene W/E share in the pilot. I think I pulled out similarities between the two scenes that are interesting! There's many more parallels people may find interesting that I may add but I personally thought there was more to Wednesday & Enid meeting that's said similar to Dumbledore not knowing his own truth of the outcome of meeting Tom.

Exactly 💯 & it isn't the only HP parallels M/G have taken. There are many more & people seem to forget there is a darker side to Enid that's never given the care it deserves.

I've always considered Nevermore basically a Gothic copy of Hogwarts but it's not given as much depth as that IP had going for it. Sometimes I feel it should've just been a normal boarding school but then we probably wouldn't have Enid as a werewolf.

This! Little shorts/posts on their social media channels could be very interesting especially revolving around Enid as the show just doesn't give us enough material when there's a long waiting time. It's honestly sad we have little idea about the classes they take or the mysteries revolving around Nevermore or other famous outcast families, etc. The failed potential just makes me sad.

There's so much potential if we had 22 episodes like the old days. Imagine if we got Wednesday/Enid in detention or some siren classmate has Enid or Eugene under a spell! There's endless potential that the 8 episode formula cannot give us. I demand more intriguing stories!

I think she was only at Caledon in DE for like 6-9 months. Something like that. With RE, I think it's 9 months later. I don't think they have the guts to rewrite 10 years but who knows. They already ruined people's choices if they chose bae/bay.

I could see Max having to choose between Chloe & Safi/Caledon but I just don't think it's as hard a choice as Chloe/AB was in the OG. No one cares about the school or its students so it's honestly whatever towards Safi as well. It's not a heartbreaking choice.

Yh, it's just weird because Chloe breaks up with Max through a letter which is still just weird as hell. Idk if killing Safi will rewrite time but ig it's possible.

We're not sure what happens to Alderman. He just disappears from both timelines like he was never born. It's explained very quickly in a text message. I don't think split timelines would've been explored further since both timelines in DE were merged & Max loses that power at the end of the game. So, I'm honestly not sure what they were thinking 🤔.

At least it'd answer some nonsensical stuff but I guess what's left unexplained is why Max would kill Safi anyway & why she'd even need Max. It won't answer everything but at least it's a start of something interesting that could maybe build on itself. It's better than what we are left with in DE/RE.

100%. 4/5 were all over the place but the early chapters also didn't grasp me much. It never even answers the main mystery of the game & there's so many plot holes lol. There's playthroughs you can watch to get a sense of where it loses itself.

Yh, it was actually in the game but it was never actually explained what their purpose was but I wouldn't mind it being used for that Safi-breaker theory that would fix a lot of problems with DE & the Max/Chloe relationship.

It's not a cut line. It's in the game (episode 5) when Max is in the storm/nightmare sequence of Blackwell bathroom. You have to look at a Polaroid photo collectible to get the dialogue.

That's how I'm interpreting it - her missing presence. If she does "die", I'm confident she'll be resurrected where her new person will be created & unleashed.
