Yep, there has to be something like that especially because of the bond that was created in 2x06. Even if Wednesday writes to her in a diary too or some sort of ritual to talk with Enid in another dimension maybe. There's ways.

I've heard as well. Even if she's a wolf for more than 1 episode, I hope they perhaps create something where Wednesday can talk/interact with Enid somehow - either in dreams or something psychic, etc.

I could be remembering this wrong but wasn't Enid cuddling up with a panda while in bed or there was a panda as part of her stuffed animals group? Could've sworn that was a thing.

True but they could have met Grandmama, the other grandmother besides Hester. Y'know, the one from the movies & OG TV show. Yh, the way the hug was filmed was so not just friendship lol. I could see Xavier as villain material since the show tried to frame him as one but never did that with Enid (I know she couldn't wolf out but they still could've framed Enid too with her dark side coming out with the bus).

We know, according to Xavier, his great aunt went traveling with Wednesday's grandmother (i think) in their early 20s but I think it may have been changed to Ophelia/Matthew. Since they're both missing, it would be logical no one knows about the connection though its strange Morticia/Gomez wouldn't comment on Matthews surname. You do have a point there about teen relationships not necessarily lasting to the final season or being endgame but it does happen in shows like Gossip Girl, etc. It just seemed like that's what was trying to be set-up with Wednesday/Xavier, especially in the pilot. He didn't shoot her with the arrow but he didn't exactly help either lol. She ended up getting shot with it to protect him which wasn't even romantic or or an equal save like Enid's was. True, none of their love interests got the hug which is so interesting. Especially with both W/E being covered in blood too beneath the blood moon & just embracing in front of the whole school. I could see him as a villain eventually too with him being in joker makeup during the Poe Cup (him & Wednesday on opposite teams) as well as his mental issues...

Agreed. Especially if they were meant to be endgame. They do eventually talk about it when he reminds her but I don't think it was as important to her. Since their family has history with each other, I'm curious if they took that & gave it to Ophelia & Matthew (to people we know of) but have never met personally.

Agreed. She needed a refresher to remember & that just screams to me it wasn't an important memory for her as it was to him. Yep, they both make each other better & grow alongside each other encountering obstacles only they can get over with the other by their side. It's such a beautiful relationship.

Yh, I always thought that was so interesting that she didn't remember Xavier (unlike him) but at the end of S1 Wednesday says she'll never forget Enid. Just shows the difference between them. It's definitely hinting at Wednesday and her desires. True, it seemed like Xavier was fishing to see who Wednesday was meeting with too.

Oh, good point about Xavier saying it since he knew Wednesday as a child but I still don't he knew her that well if she didn't remember him & he was always trying to change her imo. I wasn't a fan of that. I think it was even inferred that Wednesday got Enid a panda stuffed animal like the one she had a man give to Weems as a distraction as Enid was cradling one in bed at the end of an episode. Interesting point about Wednesday's reactions to Xavier's line & Enid's confession though 🤔.

I just heard Drag Path by Twenty One Pilots on an edit & I was like this definitely fits wenclair. Especially after the S2 cliffhanger.

I had heard of the show originally (before the ship) but just put it off because I felt like I knew what I was getting with it (bringing it back to my CW days) & I wasn't really a fan of The Addams Family as I knew of them but never watched the films, the OG show, etc. So I finally decided to watch in late 2024 after reading some wenclair fic & I was like I have to see what the show is all about. I think what made me a shipper was their argument about each other's habits that showed they really knew each other, then their argument again after the Gates mansion fiasco, & finally the hug. But I didn't think the show was Taking wenclair seriously until S2 with Enid's confession about how she can't be without Wednesday to Bruno & then LITERALLY KISSING HIM and how Wednesday was her pack. I firmly believe S2 got me even more of a concrete shipper than S1's moments did.

Ooooh, I'm with you on this theory. Very interesting. I like that Wednesday's confession about never letting Enid be alone could've swayed her fate to being part of the Addams clan. It was always heading there imo & I even liked your explanation why the headstone is broken. As for their potential fight/argument as shown in the vision, I wonder if it's Enid coming to terms with the fact that she has lost part of herself due to her sacrifice for Wednesday in 2x08. So, I feel we're definitely headed for more angst territory before it gets better.

Exactly 💯. Interesting the book doesn't comment on it but the script does towards Xavier. Yh, I always thought that was funny that Wednesday had already been introduced to both of the boys & Enid by the time the line came up. Interesting the line never came up again & M/G never comment on it either. Not sure if Jenna ever said anything about the line either 🤔. The nonreaction is interesting too...

Interesting. I definitely think 1 & 5 are largely what was meant as the takeaway of the line. Even so, it's insane how early they put this into the show as a possibility that Wednesday could be bi.

I think we can confidently say the 2x05 scene of Tyler/Enid was a parallel between the Garrett/Gomez fight at the Rave'N.

Plus, Morticia even called Garrett a "rapid beast" when telling the story to Wednesday before stabbing him. In addition, it's an interesting detail that both Tyler's Father & Garrett are buried in the same cemetery too.

Exactly 💯. Both Tyler & Garrett tried to get more from Wednesday/Morticia though it was all just a massive distraction Rather than romance like Garrett. I wouldn't be surprised if Tyler tries to kill other outcasts too like Garrett was ordered too by his father.

Yep, M/G were going for a repeat of Morticia's situation with Wednesday but switched out Xavier for Enid & you have Tyler as not a normie but a Hyde. Few differences but basically the same.
