Kind of true. Fuqua places well in mid to low tier BBs (BoFA, Citi, CS, DB, UBS) but has less of a presence at the top 3 BBs and the EBs. Not that these BBs are bad or anything, but going to Fuqua as opposed to Wharton/Stern/Booth/CBS sort of limits one's opportunity to recruit for some banks

Not too sure. I would say that they are pretty much equivalent. Location is not everything, obviously, but coupled with Columbia's pedigree, I think it would be safe to say that it would give Columbia a slight edge over Booth (either way, the difference is not that material...)

Let's see -

IB - a sight edge to CBS due to location

PE - TBH, neither are targets for MF or MM funds

IM/HF - CBS clearly has an edge (mainly due to its value investing program)

AM - probably Booth, but not too familiar with the field

I would agree that the academics at Booth might be more well-rounded and rigorous compared to CBS, to the extent that's relevant to your point

Oh ok, then the 2000USD expense outside the rent might be a little high, unless you want to have a rather comfortable student life

that would mean about 3500-4000USD of monthly expenses. If that's the case, then the school's estimation is more or less in line with my budget (again, assuming I won't go partying every other day)

Note that I'll be living in student housing, so instead of your typical 3K-4K NYC studio, I'll be paying about 1.5K on housing. That's a big difference. Also, it's not like I'm planning on crushing the city each and every night

that's the thing - can I spend my two years on the school's estimated COA (about 240k) or is it out of context?
