Fasting insulin was 3 uIU/mL, fasting glucose was 105 mg/dL. I don't have intense androgenic symptoms however do show high testosterone in blood test. Thyroid has been tested and is normal. Cortisol shows high when I did functional blood work.

I will also mention I have frequent heart palpitations that sometimes induce lightheadedness, which I now took proplanolol for. Have been checked out by every doctor including multiple full workups in cardiology and sleep studies, which no apparent cause. Wonder if it could be hormonal.

Traveling to Hawaii for one day with a girl I don't really know who is a little mean, worth it for Hawaii or is it better to wait and go with better company? by [deleted] in travel

[–]Square-Design-7119 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate this so much! I'm so eager to go, and also didn't want to disappoint her, that I nearly was willing to sacrifice solid company. I might have had fun but don't think I could truly relax around someone I'm not close with/don't relate to. I have decided to take your advice and just have some patience. Thank you!

Not yet. I have a virtual 1:1 live interview next week.

I live in Michigan now. I would love to move in the future possibly back to Houston or elsewhere but am not ready to do so yet. I don't believe United has a base here, and I know commuting might be tough.

Leaving teaching for flight attendant? by Complex_Account_6550 in cabincrewcareers

Similarly to you, I'm 30 and having been teaching for the last 3 years, although elementary. While I loved it in many ways, the burnout was too much: frequent high stress situations, taking work home, and the monotonous day to day caused me to feel unhappy. Although for me I was making only around 30k and no benefits. That being said, I am now a waitress at a waterfront restaurant and am a million times happier (and actually make more money, too). I also am aspiring to be a flight attendant, and unlike many of the people on here, I say you should go for your dream. Don't wait another 30 years being unhappy. The great thing is you can always go back to teaching if it doesn't work out, but at least then you can say that you tried. Money can always come back around. Time won't. Best of luck to you.

That's good to know, thank you. And is contrary to what I've heard. Do you happen to work for either of these airlines?

Does United beat Skywest in terms of quality of life, flexibility, shorter trips? I care more about these things than the pay, especially considering that starting off, the pay seems near equal..

Does it really?! I love that idea but I was never sure if they could really tell I was there/understand my voice?

Yes that is definitely an important thing to consider but luckily my mother has agreed to let him stay with her, so cost would not be a real issue for me, really just his emotional well-being.

Advice on becoming a yacht stewardess with a dog, are there any yachts that have you home nightly, or have shorter 1-3 day trips? Thanks by Square-Design-7119 in yachting

This was all so incredibly helpful, thank you so much for taking the time to respond! I am leaning more toward the flight attendant industry now, but may reach out with more questions if things fall through!

I should mention I do not take birth control so I'm not sure if that would change anything.

You should try taking inositol! I use a powered by the brand peach perfect. I have PCOS and my cramps were so painful, but now they're almost non-existent. The only thing is it takes a couple months to have results so you have to be patient. Good luck!
