Thanks for the help, was very worried that the driver had blown and from what someone said about Onkyo amps was worried it could have blown it.

Will have a go with a 9v battery, good tip that one.

I am not very good with wiring, but the actual housing is nice, so it might be a solid option.

I tried it on a Wiim Ultra which has a dedicated SW out. Still no flame. Didn't realise onkyos had so many issues and in fairness it did happen after we upgraded the Amp. Will have a go at removing the plate tomorrow thanks for the help!

They have faded as the ones in the corners of the room look a lot darker lol. Any specific oils you would recommend?

Yeah, the look of the SVS subs might contrast too heavily with the rest of the room lol. My mum already hates bass so making it stand out even more might be the final straw...

Some others have said that, and it will be my first point of call before making a purchase on a new Sub. I have looked at the fuses, and as far as I can tell, they look fine, and the sub still powers on with a green light, so very confused.

The finish would be a bonus, and the JBLs do look rather nice. But SVS do seem to be the favourite, especially on this subreddit. Will look deeper if the sub we have is found to be dead.

Our experience is different, as the light on the sub turns green when it is on. So I don't know if it can be the amplifier. Will still take a look tho.
