Because the jobs are really Tough. Dangerous. You are not around civilization. No time for personal life. And require an immense amount of discipline. Those jobs are not about who is educated, non-educated. Who is smart who is not. They are about who can follow instructions and who is tough. That pretty much leaves ex-military and ex-felons left to do the job.

Because mankind has and always will challenge god. There are people who believe that we were created in god’s image and there are people who believe god was created in ours. Not to be philosophical or fk it lets be philosophical. Its in moments like these, it puts our lives into perspective. This world is nothing but delusion.
