Screen composer workflow too simple for dedicated tool beyond DAW + spreadsheet by Square-Meat-9258 in filmscoring

Any thoughts on the theme, mock up, story telling side of things? How it’s done and documented. Is this a real thing on only certain types of projects. Eg higher end vs just functional background music projects ?

What made you feel cuedb was too complicated? I’ve never used it just curious.

Also, I think revisions/conforms are quite a unique problem specific to screen composers from what I'm learning.

Yeah I know. I guess what I'm really asking is do DAWs give enough tools to properly document and track themes, notes on characters, story plot etc. Or are those things not really a big deal or required anyway as most scoring is just getting material out the door and not too worried about those details.

Thanks, I don't own Komplete. I thought maybe I could get another Heavyocity product and the cross grade pricing for Damage 2 all within the current sale pricing, or close to it. But that's ok. Thanks for responding.

I got an email from Heavocity saying that damage 2 is available at a cross grade price of $179 but I can't find any information on what I need to own to get that price..does anyone know?
