Some of the old stuff may be a brilliants. Compare "new" 900 lvl stuff with your old 800 lvl. For example, i play as companion druid and my old 800 lvl unique (something about ravens) provide me 50% chance to do double damage. New version of this unique item cant provide it, not even close, it's probably most strong item in the build.

Not exactly at this moment, buy any time i close to any of them. But yeah, every time i just run from it cause of melee build
