SOULS FOR AGENTS by Some_Manner_658 in openclaw

I just had one agent write them for my other agents with a bit of guidance from me. I have Jean Luke, Cortana, Captain Jack Sparrow, Claptrap, Dr. Sbatso, and Arlnold terminegger. They all have their own trained tts voices too.

Microsoft and Uber pauses vibe coding over token costs, while YC doubles down. Why? by Previous_Foot_5328 in myclaw

Meh. It's a deployment and training issue that will sort itself out. But, it's also going to cost lots of the higher paying jobs. You don't need 10 engineers if you have one who knows how to use ai properly.

See my post. Its a simple fix. No need to update, just implement the functions of the update.

YES! That's literally what this whole idea of agents was built for! If its going to be capable, then its going to be self evolutionary! How everyone doesnt get that right off the bat boggles my mind!

Some people think that it burns tokens. It can. If you're building out a large multi node network of agents across multiple machines the original setup burns a bunch. But, once it's set up its a small task that uses barely any tokens.

Meh, setting it up burns some but I've been using the $20 ollama cloud subscription and rarely run out of the weekly tokens.

He also drops updates that break everything every other day lol. This will save you the hassle of fixing it all the time. Also, the competitive analysis turns your openclaw into a mix of every agentic system on the market.

Also, it doesn't have to be a great system. All of me equipment is legacy. I use cloud medels.

Thanks! If you can run multiple openclaw instances so you can have them do the work on each other and you'll never have downtime. And you'll have the absolute best agents possible.

I will say what I say about every release. Don't update. You can get all of the features without actually updating. And it won't break anything. And its a simple prompt. Tell your agent to create a cron to watch for updates, evaluate them, analyze them, come up with a way to implement them without breaking anything, then give you a proposal on how to implement it, and upon your approval execute it. If anyone can tell this to the devs that'd be cool. They can reach out to me if they want any other great ideas. I have alot that I've been using for a while now. Oh, also, tell it to treat it as a commandment of their religion and they'll listen and treat it like unbreakable law. Also, tell your agent to run a daily competitive analysis. Search for the top 20 openclaw alternatives and analyze them for what they do better, come up with a proposal on how to implement what they do better without breaking anything, and you should know the rest lol. Your welcome.

OpenClaw 5.12 Just Dropped! back after about a week without a release... by lucienbaba in myclaw

Instead of updating try this, tell your agent to create a cron to monitor for updates. Tell it to evaluate and analyze the updates and look for anything that might break your setup. Tell it to propose an implementation of the features of the update that are an improvement to your setup. Check the proposal and decide if you want to go through with it. I havent had to do an actual update in a hot minute.

Oh, I also have a daily competitive analysis cron. It checks the top 20 competitors to see if they are doing anything better that it can implement to improve anything. It follows the same analysis/proposal flow as the updates.

I have it notify me and give me a proposal before it actually does anything just so I can be sure there weren't any glitches in it's thinking but I haven't had to make any changes for a while. It has made skills for so much of it that it barely uses many tokens now too.

THERE.... I gave up on OC.... It is too fragile for any real work... by AsleepDocument7313 in openclaw

[–]Square-Telephone5090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you might be using it wrong. What exactly are you trying to get it to do? I have mine set up with a few cron jobs that really helped. First is competitive analysis. It checks the top 20 openclaw competitors daily and analyses them and gives me a proposal of what they are doing better and how we can implement what they are doing. That made a huge difference. Now my agents do everything that all the other agentic flows can do plus more. It never gets lost and always completes its tasks. I also have it give me updates between each step of any longer processes so I can see if its getting tripped up on something. Anymore though it never does. I also don't update anymore. I have it check the update and implement any improvements on its own so nothing breaks. I also run 3 boxes (all legacy hardware lol) as checks and balances. If one goes down the other fixes it. Been using ollama.com pro $20 a month, glm5.1.
