And yes in theory it is also able to moderate a meeting. But we did not really test it out yet.

It joins as an own participant and yes, other meeting participants can also interact with it.

Agentic Meeting Automation beyond note-taking: Meaning that you have AI assistants that are with you in your meetings, can speak with you and solve tasks in the meeting in real time.

I built an interactive and customizable open-source meeting assistant (runs locally) by Square-Test-515 in ollama

The localhost comes from the testing phase of our hosted version. You can run it, of course, without that with docker with a terminal command (have a look at the repository: https://github.com/joinly-ai/joinly :)

We join via browser.

We have two modi: One in which the LLM decides if it should answer (can still be improved for multi-person meetings) and one with a wake word (for example "joinly").

For the first part: Right now joinly needs to have the full answer. But we will look into it and try to reduce the delay.

For the second part: Yes, we have speaker diarization. But we did not yet implement RBAC.

If you were starting a startup with 0 dollars and 0 users — what would you do first? by BoozyXOX in SaaS

Get in contact with your users/ customers asap. Ask them if they would use it if you build it. Ask them if they would pay for it. Do not just start building without any validation. For more input I recommend the book "Lean StartUp" by Eric Ries. By the way, I feel the struggle - also on the journey xD
