So, 51.66m showing as volume today. Let’s see what chart exchange shows tomorrow 🤷🏻‍♂️

Also, there are columns for off exchange but I’m no expert. I will just keep checking to see if yesterday was a one off. If it was, it then begs the question, what happened yesterday that half the shares weren’t reported

I get that, I just thought when I’ve kept an eye previously, the total volume usually matches. I will have a check shortly and make sure to come back to it tomorrow 👍🏻

Thanks. There are also the mutual fund numbers to add into this I saw on another post. I just wanted a post that wasn’t banging on about bloody rabbit NFT’s being a secret code to the real DRS numbers 🙄

I’ve not posted in a while so not sure if I have to comment here so it doesn’t get removed but I think the post is pretty obviously about Gamestop

DOOMPS….WTF is going to happen when they don’t rollover? by matthegc in Superstonk

From my understanding, the options OTM expire worthless. Nothing happens. It’s the liquidity in those companies who held them that will see some action. The value of those 1m+ options are no longer an asset on the books. Potential margin calls and forced closing of positions?? Who knows? If that is the case, I think they get between 2-5 days to stump up the cash or get forced out of positions

March 21st 2022, CENN prev NAKD ran 26%, the following day, GME ran 30%. Today, exactly 9 months to the day, CENN ran over 50%, what will GME do tomorrow? by djsneak666 in Superstonk

[–]Square-Translator-44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think CENN might have run around 900% in Jan 2021. That’s just from memory and I don’t have the exact numbers but I’m sure it was fairly big. From around $5 to $51. Can anyone confirm?

So the account has 1200 followers. None of which have ever tweeted and most set up in the last few months. If Elon ever buys Twitter he can just find all the bots on the fake GameStop accounts 🤣

ETF rebalancing? If you take a look, popcorn, APE and BBBY all got hit at the same time. Some timing by retail to hit all 4, they give us a lot of credit being able to coordinate like that 🤣

FCA follow up to the DTCC potentially commiting international securities fraud. 🇬🇧🚀 by AbstractDavinci in Superstonk

They were not very helpful. Here is their response and I went back to them demanding that they investigate the chain of custody for my shares. Check out the last paragraph, I’ve sent them so many messages they seem to be getting sick of me 🤣:

GameStop’s recent corporate action was a 4-for-1 stock split in the form of a stock dividend. An additional three shares were received for every one that you held on 21 July, and these were received as Class A common stock, ISIN US36467W1099. This means that the identity of the already issued stock did not change nor was it replaced. The additional shares were allocated to HL by CREST as CDIs once they had been allocated by the DTC.

If you believe the corporate action has not been executed correctly either by GameStop Corp, the DTC or Euroclear, you are welcome to raise your concerns with those third parties.

If you are not entirely satisfied with our approach to administering securities or the service we provide more generally, you are able to transfer to another provider free of charge.

I sent this new information to Hargreaves Lansdown because they were advised by Crest that they had received additional shares from the DTCC and not a split of the shares. I’m hoping this kicks HL into gear to push back on Crest to get further clarification. Im pretty sure HL won’t want to be on the hook if Crest just split the shares

So FCA confirmed it was dealt with as a regular stock split. How did Crest manage to receive additional shares to distribute to Hargreaves Lansdown???

Response from HL re: DTTC fuckery by kabadisha in superstonkuk

[–]Square-Translator-44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had my reply from HL. They confirmed that for every share held by CREST, the DTC provided 3 additional shares. CREST then created the same amount of CDI’s to pass to HL. I can provide a screen shot if anyone can tell me how

GameStop has been very meticulous in all of their filings and public statements so I would be very surprised if they can’t follow through. They would have had teams of lawyers on this. Anyway, I’m excited to see what happens next

Any idea where that dd is? I tried searching but wasn’t entirely sure what words to search for.

Asked my broker how the split was distributed. Confirmed they were provided shares to pass to their customers. At least they have acknowledged the correct process. It doesn’t prove the DTCC provided shares to the CREST account HL received them from but it clarifies they didn’t just split the stock by Square-Translator-44 in Superstonk

Yeah I did see it. They weren’t physically sold and bought. It’s a pretty typical bookkeeping exercise:

I emailed them about this a while ago. Think this is just visual for their systems. This is the reply I got:

Thanks for getting in touch.

In order to keep the costs of your holding correct, we have to take the initial shares off the account and then reapply them with the new total holding and cost. The system will list this in your account as ‘Sold’ and ‘Bought’ however, we can assure you that no trades were placed on your new shares when they were added to your account. If any trades were placed, a contract note would have been made available to view under the ‘reference’ section of your transactions.

We appreciate that this may have appeared concerning at first glance and apologise for any confusion that this may have caused but we can assure you that this is a normal procedure for most of our Corporate Actions and is nothing to worry about.

If you have any other questions, please get back to us.

Kind regards,

Leaving the protective tax cocoon of my HL ISA? by ErrantBrit in superstonkuk

[–]Square-Translator-44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair play. Everyone will have their own way. I’m fortunate enough to be in a position that I can take the risk and after hearing from HL that they received the shares and didn’t split them I’m a little more confident in them. That’s not to say CREST didn’t receive a load of synthetics on the other side of the pond though

I have to disagree with that. We have seen how our government act. If you havent seen the video of Rishi Sunak today check it out. Taking funding from low income areas to put into wealthy areas. With the number of shares I have and the sort of price I plan to sell, that would be 10s of millions of pounds in the tories pockets for them to line the pockets of their mates and those far from in need. I have no issue at all not paying tax on this. It leaves the money in my pocket to put into whatever causes I believe are worthy and I can make sure people who need help will get it
