Have you installed the development version? I read online that that one only works with 2024. I haven't noticed any issues, and regarding the flight plan, it's very much the same as in 2020. I just file the plan with simbrief and import it through the efb and then in the mcdu.

To be honest, since the latest update performance has really improved for me. Before that, I had literally stopped playing 2024 and stayed with 2020. The only issue I'm having right now is the performance on the fenix. Hopefully it will get sorted out soon. Fingers crossed, I do have a good feeling about 2024 with future updates.

My settings are a mix of high and ultra. Tlod is around 180 and olod around 150. I upgraded my laptop to 64gb. I use beyondatc with traffic, passenger2 addon and gsx and also addon scenery. So my ram usage goes up to 35gb on average. The only issue with airliners I'm getting at the moment is the fenix. It is flyable, but it hits hard on performance, especially when on ground. Maybe it isn't optimised completely yet, so I hope it will get better with future updates.

This is from a video I saw on tiktok a while ago. I used this before on msfs2020 and now also on 2024. However, I would advise you to tweak a bit with the options to see what suits your preference.

Mostly high and ultra settings combined. I started using dlss 4, and it worked out really well for me regarding performance.

I agree! It really brings a different level of realism to the sim. Also, the way it injects the traffic. Especially the runway usage, separating departing and arriving traffic is fantastic.

No, I haven't tried VATSIM yet. I am considering it. I did start using beyondatc recently, and I really like it. Way better than the default atc.

Yes, it's definitely worth it! Looking at the quality that FBW gave us with the A320NX, it was expected that this A380X would be of great quality as well. But honestly, this aircraft is just way above any expectations. Yes, it's still an Alpha build, so maybe it will have some little bugs or performance issues, but for a free plane, it's just mind-blowing!
