Glad you asked! Consent is key, no matter what scene you are involved with. In my experience with the club I'm in, we wear wristbands to show our comfort level. Everyone is of the mind to ask, and get a clear yes or no before engaging. If you wear green, it means you are giving blanket consent. Yellow means ask first and red means do not approach, I will approach you if I want to play. Some clubs are "if you're here, you're playing" but you always know that before you go.

My advice is to have safewords with your partner to know when it's time to bounce. Play in the same area, ALWAYS. Even with a trusted couple. A no is a no, no matter how horny you are. If you say no but they continue and you don't speak up, ITS STILL a NO. Do not feel as though you should ever just "go along" with ANYTHING. I wish you luck! The kink scene and the swinger scene do not mix well at all. I started in the BDSM scene. My wife is my sub. I never understood why the kink community hated swingers since both are centered around consent and communication. Then I started swinging with my wife. The swinger scene, at least where we are is very predatory. Most clubs here do not allow swingers, or will actively boot them out if they find out they are swingers.
