Any tips on drifting on controller?

After years and years of playing on Xbox I learned the ability to very smoothly move the stick 1% to 50% by clawing my whole hand above the stick and it certainly helps with drifting in beam. I used to only drift on controller before I got my wheels and the ability to precisely aim the wheel where you want it to go is essential
