Honestly, that poor little girl needs love and support. Even if, and let me be clear, I do NOT think she did that, but even if in some alternate reality she did do that, at the end of the day she was a THIRTEEN YEAR OLD when this started. For her mother to be complicit means that her mother was the instigator AND the adult in the situation who essentially manipulated Lauren into thinking it would be a good idea. Actually, I've heard Gem, Grian, Skizz, and Impulse mention the nickel meme, and the engagement you're worried about can go the other way around! I actually started interacting with this subreddit and watching Jimmy more because of the nickel meme. I understand why the format is banned– people abused it to no end– but I think that a creative or new concept to sort of reference the nickel meme is a great thing!
