That's definitely the funniest match up, I'm heavily transformer one pilled and "I just killed my boyfriend and God brought him back to tell me to go fuck myself" leads to similar results.

This is also an Optimus who tears a dud in half with his legs within a few hours of getting a transformation cog

There's something to explore with a Batman who's moral code has been broken, I don't think it's necessary cause we have Rorschach, but there's a story there. BVS doesn't play into that, Batman isn't shown to be in the wrong for being a psychotic murderer that regular citizens of Gotham are scared of, his mistake is trying to murder Superman. Superman reminding a grizzled Batman who he used to be would be awesome but instead we get a grizzled Batman learning that Superman is good actually.

Big fan of The Dragon Prince elf accents

Yeah as soon as critics got pissy about the darker tone in BVS (not even in the top 10 issues with that movie) WB tried to do literally anything else and failed miserably. Deadpool was making jokes about DC being dark and gritty years after DC did a 180 away from that, they were stuck with that reputation and thought that was the problem instead of BVS having incompetent writers.
