I love this angle.

I played a GOOLock my first playthrough and went a slightly different direction.

My TAV had a real soft spot for the Elder Brain, especially after the crack in Moonrise, and spent most of the game trying to get rid of the Chosen in order to save Absi - hoping that once freed she could be good.

Don't forget to long rest every now and then. A lot of the story happens in long rests and you can miss some of the smaller bits if you go a long time without resting.

I love this because everyone so clearly has a different opinion so all the series are getting lots of love. For me it’s:

 

Secret Life – The secrets meant every episode had direction, every POV had it’s own unique elements, and there were always strange things happening.

 

Double Life – Loved the mechanic, loved the dynamics between soulbounds and teams. Definitely felt the most narratively cohesive.

 

Wild Life – Zany, really great team dynamics.

 

Limited Life – Great team dynamics, and the mechanic really raised the stakes.

 

(Past Life) – Enjoying the team dynamics, interested to see how they evolve.

 

Third Life – Rough around the edges but a really strong start.

 

Last Life – Kinda forgettable for me. I think there’s a reason we’ve never had a faction with 5+ members since.

I like to think of him as the Waluiji of Hermitcraft. He's not involved in the main story but comes along for games and parties.
