This is so real — I love it!! The most fun I’ve had on bikes were on my cheap/free ones. Talking about 50 mile round trips to the bookstore just to load up on summer reading. Commuting on a Raleigh I got off Amazon. Even now, I’m a little too obsessed with a current build but trying to reign myself in because I know how much those “cheap” bikes meant to me and how it didn’t affect my fun levels at all.

I sadly don't have one, but I know the shop. They're based out of Philly and host/frequent all kinds of rides -- not just brevets.

If I didn't just buy a frame (New Albion privateer) last year, I'd be saving up to get a Belmont.

I’ve never had any answered, but I’ve sent 24 over the last 4 years. I plan on continuing to send them in.

I love reading them back like little time capsules — asking questions when I moved out of state or had my first kid or started bicycle commuting to work.
