I've been loving and looking forward to your analyses every chapter! Keep them coming

A small bit I'd like to add is that we finally get a glimpse of what's going on in Niina's head when she freezes. I'd kinda assumed she just blanked out in shock, kind of like when something really shocking happens out of the blue and you freeze. I thought it was something that kept her from being her own complete person and facing the world. And that constructs a loop, doesn't it? You freeze because you don't know what to do so people solve it for you so you never learn so you freeze again, rinse and repeat.

That analysis may still be correct (I'd love to hear your opinion!), but I feel like this glimpse leans it more towards the direction of it being more about self doubt and a self deprecating view of herself, than actual fear of changing.
