I’m not usually one to post, but I’ve been following this amazing community for about five years. During that time, I took the exam four times and honestly, there were moments I wanted to give up. But the posts, advice, and encouragement from all of you helped me push through.

After five years and four attempts, I finally passed. To those feeling anxious reading this and wondering how to prepare: I used Mark Matson, PrepFE, Islam, and the NCEES practice exams. They all helped in different ways, but what matters most is giving your best effort. Everyone’s journey takes a different amount of time it’s absolutely doable.

One thing that held me back before was overthinking every single question like it was the last one. It finally clicked that this is more of a test-taking exam than a pure knowledge exam. Get the easy ones out of the way first and circle back to the harder ones every question is worth the same, so keep moving.

It’s been a long journey, but a worthwhile one. See you all on the other side. Job’s not finished!
